- Pac-Man World's bizarre part three. Infamous for it's drastic shift in tone, this game didn't sit well with fans. Let's see what this game did wrong, and what it did right!

I never realized how fitting Pac-man always being a positive and happy guy was, I mean just look at him! He's always smiling!

Pac-Man's voice here it's still better than his new one.
Pac does look fantastic for his age I'll give him that.
Fun Fact: PAC-MAN is voiced by the person who did the voice of Thomas the Tank Engiene.
Pac-man's Voice is so fitting and awesome. Really captures that goofy, happy, and optimistic attitude of the Man of Pac. I accept no other voice for him at all.

So the shock powerup basically turns Pac-Man into Emperor Pac-patine.

Wow. You referenced a meme in a way that was relevant to the point you were trying to make about the tone of the game's plot. Impressive. It didn't even feel forced like most other TH-cam videos that reference memes.
Fun Fact: Martin T. Sherman, the voice actor for Pac-Man in Pac-Man World 2 & 3 and also Blinky in the third game, has also starred in many other franchises both inside and outside the realms of gaming, with his most notable works being:

Jesus, when ur pac man world 2 video was uploaded, I got a notification for it while playing pac man world 3. Right when I started watching this video, I get a notification from eBay seeing that the copy of pac man world 2 I ordered just arrived at my house.
I just turned 25 a couple days ago. Pac Man is already married with a kid/owns a house =/
I don't mind a cheery protagonist being part of a darker storyline now and then. Certainly breaks the monotony, and it's always a perfect opportunity to put a little lore into something that may not have had much lore before. No real need to keep the tone the exact same for every single game, it's not like it automatically changes the character's core identity. Different doesn't mean bad. Pac-Man was 25 years old by this point, ya can't expect at least a LITTLE bit of change to just not happen.
