I think World 3 has the potential to be a great game, but most of it is not realized, which is ultimately disappointing. And since 3D platformers have been making a comeback in recent times, a Pac-Man World 4 (or at least a complete remake/overhaul of World 1) would fit right in now more than ever.
well they have to options for the serie: 1)reboot the trilogy like spyro and crash and fix some of the error they have with some levels and gameplay. 2)make pac man world 4 (witch to be honest dont now what kind of story or style of anamation can it have)
@@juliannavarretealvarez3070 For Pac-Man World 4, they would have to expand the storytelling, explore the Pac-Man lore, and more challenging levels, with new move sets, while retaining the tone of Pac-Man, which is fun, entertaining, and full of challenges. Also, if they're gonna do a Pac-Man World 4, I hope they use the old Pac-Man 3D design from the World Trilogy, not the Pac-Man model from Ghostly Adventures. The Pac-Man model in Ghostly Adventures looks more human, which is not who Pac-Man is. They're trying to humanize Pac-Man, but it didn't really work. Pac-Man having the classic Pac-Man eyes works better, and with no voice.
What? Did no one of you watch the original Ms. Pacman's cutscenes? The second cutscene (after stage 5 I think) shows a stork delivering Jr. to Pacman and Ms. Pacman.
OH yeah for sure. Those games actually have more focus on shooting and blowing dudes up than platforming, so it feels like the focus is where it should be.
True, I recently played them and the platforming is a lot more simplistic than something like the first Jak or Spyro. I was also surprised at how much Insomniac directly borrowed from the Spyro games for that trilogy too.
Fair point, the run&gun would be less effective if levels were more direct obstacle-courses. Jak 2 and 3 had a different approach to platforming with shooting where some levels are built specifically for platforming while others are built specifically for shooting. And then there's all the vehicles and minigames but that's besides the point since they're not regular levels. But for Ratchet & Clank I think it's better that they kept the focus on run&gunning because clearly that's what they wanted to do the most.
You might have been using that Andre gag to prove a point, but it genuinely caught me off guard and its probably the hardest I've ever laughed at your videos because of it!
I do like how, unlike the first two games that retained the ghosts as enemies, this time around the ghosts are friends who need to be saved as much everyone else its a nice change of pace, plot-wise
God, seeing those spongebob games just reminded me of Battle for Bikini Bottom and SpongeBob The movie: The game. I remember those games being great when I was just a kid, would be interested in seeing a review to see how they hold up now
London Jackson that's just a rumor, but we do know that THQ nordic and nickelodeon are partnering up again to make more games based on their cartoons, and seeing those games remastered would be pretty bangin'.
It makes sense that the ghost would recover from being eaten. In the original Arcade game, when a ghost was eaten it went invisible, showing just its eyes, and it would run back to the room in the centre which I’ve always called the Ghost House before coming back as a normal ghost again.
Am I the only one who wanted to see Pac man adventures to been an actual thing instead of Pac man 3 , cause with don bluth's involvement with the game it could've have alot of potential .😁
As a diehard Don Bluth fan, I would have ADORED what he had planned. Could we imagine a Pac-Man game with the kind of look and feel similar to The Secret of Nimh, American Tail, Land Before Time, and All Dogs Go To Heaven?
10:23 Oh my God. It's that line. The line from the limited footage I've seen of this game. I saw this a long time ago and wondered why everyone was calling attention to it.
I remember this game when I was a kid, it was my first game in the "Pac-Man World" saga, then I went backwards with the second installment until the first, many thanks for reviewing it, you have brought me many memories.
Just curious, but could you possibly do the Tak series? They are a very underrated series of games (at least the first three) that I think you might enjoy.
I've been slowly finding copies of the series this past year. Once I have them all I'll definitely go a video series on them, a lot of people ask about it.
I honestly like the shift in tone in Pacman World 3. The contrast between Pacman and the world that the game takes place in brings a certain level of charm in my opinion.
I started playing this game a few months ago and absolutely fell in love with it. Still trying to complete as of now but I just love the shit out of this game so much.
This is an amazing video! I hope you'll continue with Pac-Man games in the future. I loved this series. But I must say, I am EXTREMELY glad that you mentioned Blinky and Clyde getting mixed up! That has annoyed me for years. Thanks for all of your hard work!
Anyone else wondering what the hell happened to Sue in this series? I grew up knowing five ghosts, Inky, Blinky, Pinky, Clyde, and Sue.... WHERE'S SUE?
Sue wasn't in the original PAC-MAN arcade game. She actually started out in Ms. PAC-MAN as a replacement for Clyde (even though she was basically just Clyde under a different name in that game, since she was the same color as him as opposed to future portrayals where she's purple). Her disappearance could have something to do with the legal issues involving Ms. PAC-MAN. Read up on it, it's a really interesting mess.
Bubbabyte no it’s a different character now, I mean SHE WAS IN THE CARTOON AS A PURPLE GHOST and Pac-Mania again as purple so Namco obviously owns the character as well as the fact that she isn’t Yum-Yum from Pac-Man Jr.
I would like to see him review the first 3 6th gen Spongebob 3D platformers. BUT I think it can wait until next year after Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated comes out.
Pac-Man did speak in the beginning of World 1 although it was just him saying "Oh no!" and "NOOOOOOOOOO!" when he saw what happened to his birthday party.
As someone who played World 2 first... I honestly really liked World 3. Maybe its because I'm a sucker for scifi stuff so I'm definetily biased, but idk it just gave me Ratchet N Clank vibes so I really enjoyed it.
Oh my god I love you so much because you were using the Scott pilgrim vs the world the game soundtrack. AND Jesus your writing as went a long way but damn it getting better and better.
it's always crazy to watch you talk about old games that i use to play when i was little. When i played this game as a kid i didn't even know that this game was part of a trilogy. all i knew was that there was a pacman game and that it was kind of fun. Thank you for teaching me about games that i just saw as just another game but is acutally something more then that :)
I love this game, easily my fave of the trilogy, i didn't mind the combat, certainly didn't affect my enjoyment of the game. I really wish Namco would make a Pac-Man World 4 but sadly it doesn't seem likely at this point.
I grew up with the Pac-Man World games, and not many people have given them the time of day. I always thought they were pretty solid and I’m glad through your popularity on this site you may open the door to many others. I particularly like this review as I actually love Pac Man World 3 and I’m really happy to see someone not bash on it for a half hour. Because of these reviews I have looked at your other videos and you make some great content!
I like Pac-Man’s attitude in this game- he’s very Bugs Bunny in that he’s been around the adventurous ghost-gobbling block a few times, he knows how this works and that he can handle it.
The “PAC-MAN Adventures” thing is interesting because in the Windows version, the game’s executable file is called “PMA_W32_M.exe” the PMA most likely standing for PAC-MAN Adventures, it seems Blitz games never even bothered to change the exe name when they were given the reigns to reshape it into a World game.
I really like the voice they chose for pac-man, because it's one of my favorite types of voices and if the entire game is voice acted, that will remind me fo hat in time.
Pac-Man Adventures looks like it could’ve been really cool, I hope they eventually remake and finish it. A Pac-Man World 4 would also be awesome to see.
I personally don't mind the darker tone this game has. It sort of reminds me of what the Mario RPGs did, where the overall story and tone would be much darker than the norm but there was still that sense of fun and charm that you'd normally expect.
I saw this game at a friend’s house on their Ps2. I asked them if they liked it. They liked it! They have similar tastes in music and stuff so I think I might like this game!
I grew up with the Pac-Man world series, or 2 and 3 because i had an xbox and those were the only ones on that console, but I loved these games, although i never actually completed one (by the time I was old enough to actually understand what i'm trying to do without dying a billion times) the Xbox 360 and next gen on games had been out and we had gotten rid of out og Xbox. I really wish that Namco would remaster the entire triliogy, while 3 isn't my fav, it still holds a spot in my heart for being some of my first video games and i still remember the enjoyment i got from opening up Pac-Man World 3 on Christmas morning. My reaction that he was in Smash (With the World design) made me scream with enjoyment and i think a lot of people would buy a Collection type game with all 3 remastered. Given the fact that a bunch of throw back games are selling (Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Halo) I think world would open a new audience to this series and maybe one day even warrent another entry But i know this is just wishful thinking and that this series will never return (unless maybe, we set out and remaster the games ourselves)
NitroRad playing Pac-Man World 3: Ugh! More combat. Shut the story down. We gotta focus on this now. Me playing PMW3: Yeah, punch 'em! Speedrunners and TASers: Combat? What's that, some kind of food? Also, the jokes in this game are as solid as your references. In other words, they're awesome!
It kinda sad that I think pacman world 3 will probably never be remastered treatment like world 1 and no doubt world 2 will get. Unless of course the fans really want the whole trilogy together
The Blinky and Clyde thing was done even earlier in the 1982 Hanna-Barbara Pac-Man cartoon. Clyde was the leader of the ghosts, while Blinky was the idiot.

I think World 3 has the potential to be a great game, but most of it is not realized, which is ultimately disappointing.
And since 3D platformers have been making a comeback in recent times, a Pac-Man World 4 (or at least a complete remake/overhaul of World 1) would fit right in now more than ever.
Shiro-Luna WHERE IS THE SWITCH PORT???? WHY IS THERE NO SWITCH PORT??? SWITCH PORT MOB, ASSEMBLE!!!
well they have to options for the serie:
1)reboot the trilogy like spyro and crash and fix some of the error they have with some levels and gameplay.
Here you go
Welcome to the future my friend!
I think Don Bluth's reimagining of Pac-man looked awesome. Shame that we'll never see it.
That would've been something I might have really loved.
@@jameslawrenson1208 Man Don Bluth just can't catch a break, can he???
Wait if it's Pac's 25 bday and his son looks like 10..... was Pac Man a teen dad?
Who did he bang though? The ghost or Ms. Pac Man?
Junior was in the 20th anniversary game, too, and seemed to be about 7/8 so it's pretty likely.
What? Did no one of you watch the original Ms. Pacman's cutscenes? The second cutscene (after stage 5 I think) shows a stork delivering Jr. to Pacman and Ms. Pacman.
I didn’t know Ms. Pac-Man was a cougar.
Now we're asking the real questions
Is nobody else going to talk about Brady's J O Y C O N B O Y S Etika shirt?

@@LuisdenPixel Op's comment did not age well, unfortunately.
It hurts
The PS2 Ratchet & Clank games in my opinion do combat platforming the best, mostly because it's more run&gun shooting than actual combat.
To be fair its platforming combined with run and gun mechanics mixed in making simple platforming challenges actually harder.
But for Ratchet & Clank I think it's better that they kept the focus on run&gunning because clearly that's what they wanted to do the most.
elin111 I think they are equal to each other and both have qualities that deserve to be platinum games
You might have been using that Andre gag to prove a point, but it genuinely caught me off guard and its probably the hardest I've ever laughed at your videos because of it!
Dude thank you so much for covering this series. Very underrated little trilogy. Keep up the great work!
I do like how, unlike the first two games that retained the ghosts as enemies, this time around the ghosts are friends who need to be saved as much everyone else
its a nice change of pace, plot-wise
God, seeing those spongebob games just reminded me of Battle for Bikini Bottom and SpongeBob The movie: The game. I remember those games being great when I was just a kid, would be interested in seeing a review to see how they hold up now
London Jackson that's just a rumor, but we do know that THQ nordic and nickelodeon are partnering up again to make more games based on their cartoons, and seeing those games remastered would be pretty bangin'.
They do hold up, I played them recently they are fun
SteelCityFilms source?
It IS a rumor. They have not confirmed anything about remastering Battle for Bikini Bottom specifically.
They hold up quite well, still some of my favorite 3D platformers of the 6th gen.
It makes sense that the ghost would recover from being eaten. In the original Arcade game, when a ghost was eaten it went invisible, showing just its eyes, and it would run back to the room in the centre which I’ve always called the Ghost House before coming back as a normal ghost again.
Pacmans voice and his personality is how you translate a mute character to a character with a voice
Huh. I actually laughed at a meme joke!
Congratulations.
Good news someone made a video him Called (Don Bluth Musicals)!
Ok this is the best NitroRad episode I think I’ve ever seen
10:23 Oh my God. It's that line. The line from the limited footage I've seen of this game. I saw this a long time ago and wondered why everyone was calling attention to it.
10:28 my reaction entirely.

And the toilet.
Can you tell me what it means?

the gun bits killed me. Please have more Brady. That analogy also about the darker story was perfect
They also killed Brady
14:20 "hes not the type of character I'd see getting dragged into a plot like this" *literally shows him getting dragged* lmao
I remember this game when I was a kid, it was my first game in the "Pac-Man World" saga, then I went backwards with the second installment until the first, many thanks for reviewing it, you have brought me many memories.
I didn't expect you would reference The Eric Andre Show, also great job as always in making the video.
Just curious, but could you possibly do the Tak series? They are a very underrated series of games (at least the first three) that I think you might enjoy.
Zipplip Oh, that would be great
Oh yeah i hardly remember does, the only one i got to finish was tak 2 staf of dreams.
I just recommended that series too.
I've been slowly finding copies of the series this past year. Once I have them all I'll definitely go a video series on them, a lot of people ask about it.
lenonbaby The GBA version especially should be talked about, due to how impressive of a game it really is on the handheld.
I honestly like the shift in tone in Pacman World 3. The contrast between Pacman and the world that the game takes place in brings a certain level of charm in my opinion.
It's so gorgeous
I started playing this game a few months ago and absolutely fell in love with it. Still trying to complete as of now but I just love the shit out of this game so much.
14:56 Holy shoot, that was an amazing way to get across your idea and it worked perfectly!
The Spectral portals were trippy. The giant siphon portals were trippy as hell.
StCerberusEngel She was resurrected as a Pac-person running the arcade
Well her last appearance was in 256
Sue wasn't in the original PAC-MAN arcade game.
I find it funny how a semi-joking comment led people to actually trying to answer the question. lol. Keep it up.
Pac Man World 3 is actually surprisingly gorgeous and I really like his voice actor
Brady dies in infinity war
James... i don't feel so good
0:48 that's a nice looking rayman jacket.
Love the Eric Andre reference. Who did killed Brady!?
dude that death gag was brilliant. at first I was like "what the hell" but you used it to make a point, well done.
Review SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom...Please 😛
Good choice!
I would like to see him review the first 3 6th gen Spongebob 3D platformers. BUT I think it can wait until next year after Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated comes out.
Yes
Higher Ups: We don't like the dark direction your taking.
Me: YOU HIRED DON FUCKING BLUTH, THE FUCK DID YOU EXPECT?
I personally enjoyed this game immensely as a child. I felt it was a TON of fun. Truth be told, this makes me want to go replay the game.
I was watching stranger things saw the notification and was like.” Priority’s” and clicked
it's always crazy to watch you talk about old games that i use to play when i was little.
I really wish Namco would make a Pac-Man World 4 but sadly it doesn't seem likely at this point.
same, the punching was repetitive but the power up pellets and bounce shockwave made combat fun
Nothing better than sitting down on a Friday night, eating pizza, and watching an extra-long brand new Nitro Rad video.
Man I laughed way too hard at the "Help Who!" And the "Who Killed Brady?" Parts.
Did you ever notice that pac-man's eyes are just 2 pacmans that look sideways?
It was obvious, since Pac-Man World 1
I like Pac-Man’s attitude in this game- he’s very Bugs Bunny in that he’s been around the adventurous ghost-gobbling block a few times, he knows how this works and that he can handle it.
I love the way you used that Eric Andre bit to support your point about tone!
14:53 HOLD ON FOR A SEC! Brady is part of the "Joycon Boyz"?!
Well that came out of nowhere.
Sebastian Baumkuchen you bet!
I can't believe Sonic could chomp them ribbon pellets this whole time
It feels like there could be a lot of potential in a Pac-Man platformer that carries over the best elements from both 2 and 3.
Why are your videos so good nitro rad?!
They’re really well thought out have funny jokes and come out on a good schedule!
Pacworld 4 for switch ps5,and xbox series x would be fire wouldn't you agree rad?
11:30 someone give me a link of that specific line of dialogue I desperately need it I had the line stuck in my head for days
Pac-Man World 3 Banni Canyon (widescreen)
I really like the voice they chose for pac-man, because it's one of my favorite types of voices and if the entire game is voice acted, that will remind me fo hat in time.
With the ribbon pellet, Pac-Man harnesses his inner NiGHTS and paraloops his enemies
7:26 Hey. I love the combat in Sonic Unleashed.
yeah its very indepth and have a lot of combos and movement its only downfall is the lack enemy verity but other than that its very good
Bruh
This is my favorite Pacman voice actor
That Eric Andre reference made my day.
Such a great video as always, so refreshing to see old plateformers !
Hope one day you'll make a video about Psychonauts
Pac-Man Adventures looks like it could’ve been really cool, I hope they eventually remake and finish it. A Pac-Man World 4 would also be awesome to see.
That would be smart, if they ever reimagined the stuff from Pac-Man Adventures to Pac-Man World 4 tbh
I personally don't mind the darker tone this game has. It sort of reminds me of what the Mario RPGs did, where the overall story and tone would be much darker than the norm but there was still that sense of fun and charm that you'd normally expect.
Don't forget World Rally.
17:57 it's just the new attack sonic has in sonic frontiers (the spin cycle)
12:26 NiCE MEME REFRENCE I WAS WONDERING WHERE YOU WERE GOIN WITH THAT
I like your jokes being more dark, i totally enjoyed that joke!! Also, just recently noticed your pseudo-rayman cosplay, nice hoodie!
I saw this game at a friend’s house on their Ps2. I asked them if they liked it. They liked it! They have similar tastes in music and stuff so I think I might like this game!
Just discovered your channel today which is ironically when you published this video. Instant sub. Your reviews on the PMW games are amazing.
I honestly genuinely liked the combat system.
And yeah, the dialogue was nice, I loved wisecracking Pac-Man.
Given the fact that a bunch of throw back games are selling (Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Halo) I think world would open a new audience to this series and maybe one day even warrent another entry
But i know this is just wishful thinking and that this series will never return (unless maybe, we set out and remaster the games ourselves)
Well the combat was one of the main focuses in the night stages of Sonic Unleashed.
and unlike the other games in unleashed you have a LOT of combos
NitroRad playing Pac-Man World 3: Ugh! More combat. Shut the story down. We gotta focus on this now.
Me playing PMW3: Yeah, punch 'em!
Speedrunners and TASers: Combat? What's that, some kind of food?
Also, the jokes in this game are as solid as your references. In other words, they're awesome!
“I beat bubsy 3D” I don’t think you should brag about that, it just tells people you did something you shouldn’t have done
It kinda sad that I think pacman world 3 will probably never be remastered treatment like world 1 and no doubt world 2 will get. Unless of course the fans really want the whole trilogy together
Fuck the video game, it's impressive that the Eric Andre reference followed the exact timing and cadence of the scene from the show
The Blinky and Clyde thing was done even earlier in the 1982 Hanna-Barbara Pac-Man cartoon. Clyde was the leader of the ghosts, while Blinky was the idiot.
