I can imagine that when you’re out at sea for long periods, with the landscape looking the same for days on end - having a detailed interior like that would feel grounding and be more interesting to look at. As someone with eyes as light as Riley’s, I know that light sensitivity can become an issue too and it’s always such a relief to get under some shade or have a bit or darkness to relax your eyes.
I was born in 1972. The pink tile in the bathroom is fully authentic IMHO. My mother still has it. Every time I visit, I want it for myself. That was one aspect of the 70's that never got old for me: awesome bathroom tile.
Great video! I have some advice that can pay dividends in the future. I see that you have inflatable life straps on the boys and that is cool. My advice is that in a safe environment, like at the beach, have them jump overboard and try them. Yes, you need to replace the CO2 cartridge's after but it gives the boys a sense of how they work, how it's like to swim with them inflated, and how everything will be fine when they inflate. I spend alot of time in canoes. When my two boys were quite young we took them out in the canoe and, in about 10 feet of water, practiced flipping the canoe. They had a blast, learned the canoe wont actually sink, and could experience what it was like to have a canoe flip on them. Safe practice leads to less panic during a real emergency.
I always thought I wanted a catamaran, but I’ve definitely changed to wanting a Trimaran. I’ve owned smaller 16-18ft trimarans and they were fast and safer. At 18:00 that little voice was adorable. We have a 5yr old daughter and she likes to help with filming sometimes. Reminds me of her.
That green on your copper fittings is called verdigris. It is a toxic substance that forms when copper oxidises. Can cause irritation to skin and eyes, nausea and anemia if ingested. Can cause organ damage after long or repeated exposure.
It's actually not though, a 2-minute check on wiki says that the pigment "verdigris" and the greenish color that forms when cooper oxydizes are not the same thing. Only the pigment is toxic.
For the WHITEBOARD just put a blank piece of paper in the FRAME (with the glass) and write directly on the glass with the dry erase markers!!! It worksss!
Every boat ive been on has a homogenous design that looks like it was built with a lot of traditional habits. Its cool how unique your boat is. Very bohemian. Reminds me of a beach bungalow.
Those racing dark green painted cabinets with the warmth of the natural exposed wood and the comfy inviting leather couches just make one hell of a good looking and comfy living area. Love it!
About the induction kichen - The thing about inuction noise is that it does not come from the stove istelf. The Pot is what makes the noise. The better conductivity of the pot (less energy los during transfer from the stove to the pot) The les noise the pot will make and will be more efficient. In homes people usually dont care that much about efficiency but in your case you could probably save a little power buy buying the best possible pots for the stove.
Boat looks great. I love the dark aesthetic. Also you can just put a white piece of paper behind the glass of the wooden frame and you can write on the glass for your “whiteboard”.

The interior of the boat looks simultaneously totally bonkers and extremely homely and familiar without ever having seen anything like it. Fantastic. Also can't wait to see you sailing along stunning coastlines again, it seems like forever since those kinds of episodes, I reckon a lot of us will feel that breath of fresh air slap us in the face through the screen. Happy New Year, dudes, stay safe 💙
We had an induction hob when we replaced our kitchen over 20 years ago. This year we were getting a completely new kitchen but the induction hob was still going strong and looks exactly like any new one we could have bought so we kept it! It still looks and works like new. Good choice. 💙👍🏻
This boat SCREAMS Elayna & Riley! I’ve been watching you for so long, I’m literally emotionally touched by how this boat embodies the two of you! I watch a lot of cruising channels and there is not a boat out there that exudes the personality of the crew as yours has. I’m so proud of you two….
I dropped off for a while for personal reasons. Then, on a trip to Florida to visit my niece. Turns out she loves your channel. Now I'm back & I'm blown away by the new boat & all the amazing color combinations. You absolutely killed it. As an older gentleman, for advice I'd say, start designing a bigger one now. Boys grow way too fast. I'm glad to see you guys again. ✌️
People will always have their opinions and don’t stop to think that you make decisions best for YOUR family and have surely considered the future in said decisions. You and rapido did an incredible job. Excited to watch all the future adventures with the new boat!! Epic you guys, thanks for sharing.
I love the time warp snap! The irony is hysterical! Your new home is gorgeous, a little more busy than I expected for Riley’s minimalist nature. The copper accents and trims can become toxic as the patina grows. Verdigras is the term that refers to this evolution, and some of the toxins that can result from it. Wishing your family all the best, and looking forward to seeing your adventures!
Rarely comment but just wanted to say at the end of this year how special you guys are, Elayna and Riley! Keeps me motivated to push through my studies towards future adventures, and your positive attitudes and intelligent, beautiful and kind filmmaking is always so refreshing and inspiring. Very grateful for you guys! Happy New Year and here's to an awesome 2024 to all the Vagabonde crew and all the other viewers here! :) xx
The green that forms on your copper fittings is copper carbonate. It's not harmful if left undisturbed. Unlike rust on iron it won't flake off. It will form a coating that prevents further oxidation. If you were to scrape or sand it off the dust could present various hazards though. Copper carbonate dust is harmful (but not toxic) if inhaled or ingested. It's also a serious eye irritant. Copper is also very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. I should add I'm a UK based technician working with various harmful metal oxides so please bear in mind the material may be be classed differently in other countries
Gorgeous boat! I know you co-sleep with the boys at the moment while theyre young and wouldnt be able to get themselves out of an emergency but whats the plan for when theyre bigger and need their own space? Modify the guest cabin to a twin rather than a double?
'An Amazing Yacht'😊in every aspect. Well thought through, to the end the result. Great leaders in genuine hospitality and adventure.. I thank you🎉for your inspiration to Life&LIVE❤LOVE&Laughter😂SV La Vagabond family=fair winds and following seas
Interior designer here! I’m loving that you weren’t afraid to add your own personal style to what is essentially your home. I think sailing is so steeped in tradition that sometimes design stagnates or is variations on the same theme. You both have never shied away from being different and it makes me happy to see that in the design of your boat 🎉
Such an incredibly beautiful boat- just when I get done drooling over the outside, I go inside and lose my mind over the interior. Truly blown away with the colors, the furnishings, the materials.... Just top notch choices all the way. The inside feels like a home, which is perfect. And yet is a fully modern carbon fiber boat with all the best equipment and technology. Just astonishing. Enjoy!
I love the galley and the decor the stove would be new to me too, the colours are just lovely and new, you got your leather couch seems like you got plenty of storage including kids toys, awesome video and thankyou for your grace, and for the tour of your brand new home, and after all, this is your home! So happy for you both!
Others have said, but I want to comment also...the "snap" intro(s) from the way it looked while being built to the finished product was really cool! Great video, your boat looks amazing.
Its nice to see a boats interior that reflects the owners quirky tastes. I love whay you two have dont with the interior. The vessle is awesome. I bet its like a "fast as it can go ride" mechanical bull ride in widy conditions. Not for the faint of heart. Fearless comes to mind.
I absolutely LOVE my induction stove!! Not only is it fast and powerful, but it is super easy to clean! Nothing burns to the stove surface, because the surface isn't what's hot. It's the pan itself! CONGRATS on a beautiful boat!!
How exciting and entrancing. You’ve chosen an earthy interior, combined with rusticated elegance, with dashes of retro sensibility. Tonally, the opposite of the total white world inside your old catamaran. Love it!
Great video guys, I can just believe the learning curve on this Trimaran compared to your last boat, just WOW!! but when things get adjusted and learned inside out the nerves when sailing will go away, you guys are awsome and I cant wait for the next video :)
Riley you didnt mention it, a mainsheet load fuse would be a must have; if a strong gust manifests out of nowhere, it dumps the mainsheet immediately, (tris are very stable upside down)
Woop woop. Cool to see top spec houseboat in action and with family and friends on board. As someone who has lived over 25 years living in and traveling around all of Japan I especially look forward to your adventures ahead on sea and land there. Bon voyage.
Not my first letter to you,but when i was Oilfield Diving in the 80'S,i was sent over to KK. for a job and stayed for two week's,what a HUGH change since then, back then it was a little sleepy Kampong, love your new space ship.
Great snap your fingers into, lots of planning there. Beautiful boat, the color combos are wonderful. Great layout. Thanks. Super job taking us through your amazing home.
I absolutely love the boat. Just to let you know that the greening on the copper ( copper oxide ) is dangerous when ingested as it is TOXIC. It's just something to keep in mind as you live with this amazing boat. Keep up with the great videos
I’ve had an induction hob at home for years but I still think it’s cool. It’s fast and easy to cook, then easy to clean after. Definitely my favourite way to cook.
This is one snazzy boat! I love love love all the colors, especially that blue and those tiles in the kitchen. The exposed carbon wall in the masters quarter looks kewl AF. I have been watching this channel since they started it on the original La Vagabond, I am so glad Elyena had a vision for this channel. It is in my top 5 favs
When you want to touch your woodwork -- it's been done right. (When has anyone ever wanted to rub their Ikea stuff?) Green makes us think of arsenic. (People used to like rich green wallpaper because there'd be no mosquitos and flies in that room. The walls were killing them.) On your copper pipes that green is just copper oxide. Copper and oxygen. When they redid the copper roof of the Griffith's Observatory in Los Angeles, it turned black. They had to clean it and use acid and flame. When I lived in Montreal they redid the copper on Eglise Notre Dame across the street from my studio, in 6 months it turned green. Better air quality.
I love the Bohemian decor style to it, makes it feel a lot more homey. I think many people would love to know about the challenges you've mentioned about going into and leaving various countries.
love your new boat! so happy to hear you guys have been working on your mental health. I am a therapist and I wanted to inform you that Better Help is actually damaging the careers of Mental Health Practitioners. As much as it is as accessible and affordable for the client, it is not for the therapist. They underpay the mental health practitioners and overwork them. I really encourage you to look deeper into who you are working with.
Your house is beautiful, the countertop sink and backsplash in the galley are very reminiscent of some nice mountain cabins I've been in. Absolutely amazing traveling home, good on you guys! Love and light from The Lost Coast.
Hey Elaina ♡♡♡ tip : i have a white board picture frame, all i did was put thick white paper in it and write on the glass of the picture frame. Old fashioned glass white board, and i have to say, it works better than whatever material whiteboards are made of 😊❤
Thanks for this. The finger snapping sequences of construction to finished was brilliant. Think of other uses of this techniques…before storm during storm. Etc.
That exposed helm with no seat seems odd. I know you're not planning on it, but if the auto pilot went out and you were forced to be back there at night in rough waters I imagine it would be very hard to stand back there and not get washed off your feet? Standing in place for hours on end on flat stationary ground is difficult enough. Thoughts on that?
I renovated a house that looked a lot like your interior. We tore it all out and painted everything white. LOL It wasn't my choice. But I had never seen anything like it befor and then to see how similar your interior is, colours and copper fittings. But I do love most of your choices.
Such an amazingly unique boat! I love all of the personal touches you have done to this vessel…from the boat color to the decor! It looks like a home!! Well done you! ⛵️❤
Hi there my malor concern is on deck SAFTEY no fence to stop your kids from falling off and at the speeds you will be doing it's going to take a while to turn around to get them an Outemer 55 would have been just as fast but Safeer
On the batteries.. i assume Riley meant 43kWh of battery (storage), rather than kW (which is flow).. From what i gather the boat under ideal conditions could generate 2kW from solar with the foldout panels) and maybe 3kW from the tuebine under good sail - you probably dont have both together. And as a comparison, your current base model Tesla 3/Y RWDs have about 60kWh batteries.. some EVs 100+kWh
Like most people in the comments i love the new boat and think it’s stunning , but as a family cruiser not so sure . Hope we are all proved wrong and the boat works well for family life
Love your new boat, but, contrary to what Riley said, I don't think the engine room is the likeliest place for a fire...I think it would be that charging draw. It would be prudent to install a mini extinguisher in there or something.
I was a teenager in the 70's , and your bathroom decor is close, but quite a bit darker than seventies colored bathrooms 😉. I'm so happy for y'all that you have your nice big vessel now ❤. God bless your family 🙏
I’m so incredibly excited to have you guys taking us on new adventures in your gorgeous home. I have been severely missing seeing Elayna diving, Lenny swimming in the deep blue, and Riley fishing and spearing. I’m so excited to see how Darwin begins to explore alongside you all. I was wondering during this tour if we would go over the outer hulls (I’m not sure if that’s what they’re called, I’m not a boat person, I’m just here for the adventure especially while parenting) but as I know you guys usually have crew plus a nanny on board I was curious if the plan was still having those mini bedrooms for extra guests and crew. Nonetheless, I am so in love with all of the features of the boat and while it was exciting being brought along for the build I am STOKED for the adventures you all will get up to now being finally home.
Hi folks. Your new boat looks like a lot of fun, and I don't want to tell you how to think or how to live your life, and I don't know if you will even see this, but I wanted to say that when you called that boat unsinkable it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. If something happens to you all this will definitely be analyzed as a preindicator. This boat is high-performance bordering on a racing yacht. It clearly has a much smaller margin for error than others you are used to, and you reached the limits of that margin during your shakedown sail. I'm just trying to be a good dude and point this out to you if you aren't aware of it already.
I'm only 1:19 in and just wanted to say what a brilliant and snappy introduction to your boat tour. As original as the interior design itself. Great job!
Very nice. I wish you had gone the route of an electric powered dingy. Rick Moore loves his and the lack of noise is a game changer. I guess with the lack of a dodger you aren't expecting much rough/wet weather sailing. I love the boat and your family in it.
I’m so proud of you guys! I’ve been watching since the beginning I believe. It’s been years. You guys have come so far and done so much, and I love the kids are growing up this way and will have so much knowledge. They will really have a hard time one upping their lives one day when they grow up and have their own families. God bless your family and may he watch over your family and protect you always. ❤
Oh man. that soothing music playing in the background feels so good and cozy. didn't noticed it before or maybe u haven't done it before. either way is an awesome addition.
Your new home is EPIC. So many wonderful systems that you didn't have before. She really is beautiful and we are so happy for your family! The dinghy is cool but (speaking from experience) it seems to me that it may not be as easy to get back into after spearfishing, as your inflatable was. Wishing you and your family a Happy and Blessed New Year.....
You guys need a teapot to boil water. It will take WAY less power. Until then, cover the pot and it will boil in half the time 😊❤ Boat is gorgeous congratulations 🎊🍾🎈🎉
I LOVE al the different colors and wallpapers that add texture to your floating home. Unlike any other floating home out there. You truly made it reflect your wanting to be out in the elements. So peaceful, as if you are wrapped in nature.🥰
Riles, battery capacity is measured in (k)Wh, not (k)W, the latter unit being for the power a device produces or supplies *momentarily*. The addition of 'h' (hours) basically conveys for how long this power could be supplied (or produced), resulting in a measure for how much energy is stored in the batteries. Simplified, one could say Watts ist for 'strength', Watt hours for a storage amount. So your battery bank could supply 43.2 kW for one hour (or half that for two hours etc.) Loving every episode, amazing work!
I loved to see this project come to life and can’t wait to see the following episodes ❤ I can’t believe it’s been three years since the beginning of this journey?!!
I love the boat and especially agree the copper is great. You know, the statue of liberty is copper and is green because of corrosion. It's actually called patina. It's not poisonous and I think it looks great.
Wow you guys are living the dream doing what you love and going wherever you want people say they want to see the world but are tied down to their jobs and homes you just cast off and you’re home comes with you I think that’s amazing
Once again, you are all truly incredible. I am deeply grateful for the inspiration you have provided. We bought a 5X model inspired by your work, and nearly everyone we meet has something positive to say about you. You are legends, and it's truly remarkable how you have helped countless people pursue their dreams!
With a airtight engine room I wonder what kind of extinguisher is used? You can get fire extinghuishers that use a special type of gas (I forgot the name) that pushes all oxygen out the room and extinguishes the fire without further destroying any equipment which is what normally happens with foam. This also stops battery fires BUT opening a hatch will let oxygen back in the room and that will restart the chemical reaction in any compromised batteries, so they'll just start burning again. Submerging them in water is the only way to stop a lithium-ion battery fire.
Hi, Love the new boat, however, I would like some protection at the helm from the sun. In general I would not use leather which retains the heat and would be very uncomfortable in the tropics. Also the use of exposed copper is crazy you will be forever cleaning the oxide off. I wish you all as a family the very best for the future, enjoy. Cheers from Oz
With all that carbon steel, you could use little Neodymium magnets that can stick to your frames/projects and the hang on your walls and such. I bought mine from Amazon and they have a sticky back on one side. Super cool and helpful! I can move things around wherever I want. :D
Is this boat smaller than your last? It seems like it is much smaller, at least on film. I thought you had 3 rooms in the last boat, and your lounge and outside area looks a bit smaller too.
The interior is not my style but I still absolutely froth it. It is evident how much love has gone into this place to make it inot a home. Love the unapologetic style and not listening to peoples negative 'advice'. This video was well worth the wait!
You guys are putting out lengthy episodes with so much great content. I find myself wanting to comment on so many things, but then my messages would be as long as your awesome episodes. Im sure Im not alone in this. So Ill keep it to two fantastic parts of this episode. 1) I am so amazed at how roomy La Vagabonde is inside, compared to the way she looks from the outside. Am I the only one that sees this? Im guessing its a perspective thing. Quite simply, she's VERY roomy and comfortable, in contrast to how big she looks on the outside in the water. 2) Lennie's Lens is a big hit for me! I really enjoyed it a lot. And I think its just the beginning of his future video/audio contributions regarding his life on La Vagabonde!
Guys, thanks for the tour! Riley, your last comment at the end of the video... sailing faster than wind speed. My eyes got all watery. The holy grail. I'm also stoked to hear that the boat is so comfortable in strong winds with the auto pilot. Have a safe and fantastic 2024.
If the verdigris upsets too many of your subscribers, you could polish the copper fittings to its natural pink hue then lacquer it. 👍🏻 With you on the main cabin being foreword. Much quieter than aft where folk hang out around the helm and fishing/climbing off/on the stern. The water maker saves soooo much water storage space/weight. I can see how and why you’re set up for short sail passages. Living on a boat isn’t just ocean crossings and no access to fresh food for weeks on end. Lovely to see the whole family looking healthy, fit and happy. Can’t wait to watch how the boat performs for you as you embark on your next chapter.
Dream ⛵ boat guy's, you worked so hard behind the scenes to get it🦘👌. Tomato juice Will get rid of oxidation on the taps, then apply baby oil 👌. Take care beautiful family 🙏🦘.
What are you going to suggest for couples thinking about buying this boat? The sail plan is too much (too big/too heavy/too strong/dangerous) for an experienced couple; let alone a less experienced couple or couple with youngsters. Even an experienced couple who are in top shape like yourself and Elaina, can't handle this sail plan without crew - as seen on shakedown. My hope is that the boatyard told you as much in advance. Unless you plan to sail with a crew forever, what plans are ahead to make this new boat manageable and safe? Your two videos sailing it tell me that these realities haven't sunk in 100%. Your boat is no "family performance catamaran alternative". It's a terrific "crewed racer", but your 60 is a "crewed racer" and you want to be transparent to explain as much - to keep viewers and yourselves safe. Great video - as ever!
It will be a challenge in heavy weather for even experienced sailors. I think they are aware of that and are bringing on more crew to help. The weather can't be projected very far out sometimes and can sneak up on you. They might also be able to fly Alayna and their sons on really rough, long passages (and that would give more room for seasoned sailors)
@@lilygirl2719 Adding crew means (a lot of) logistics - that wouldn't be necessary with a boat designed for a couple to manage. Crew get sick & sea sick also, they miss their flight, they get stuck in traffic, need a place to R&R, a bathroom, etc. Juggling that many balls is a stress even when it works, and that boat isn't set up for two or three full-time crew. It looks unnavigatable, which means there will come a time in the not too distant future when it becomes unsafe and a responsible captain steps in to forbid tragedy. Consider the Mayflower: In 1620, its Captain took over the ship for the first time from his father - and he killed half of his passengers and crew by making the mistake of starting again after a setback forced them to return to port. Passengers got to Plymouth in full winter (November 21st) with no safe harbour, so 45 passengers perished by this Captain's single wrong decision. That 60 is a hell of a sailboat no doubt, but it can only sail with crew and with all conditions needed for safe arrival. Shimmying up the rigging in heavy weather can be fatal, so plan to never do it again.
This is the comment of someone who is not an SVL mafia member. You’re 100% correct but you forgot to mention that someone has to look after 2 small children who can’t swim. This boat requires a crew of at least 1 more likely 2 and where are you going to sleep them it only has 2 cabins and putting people in the pods is not a viable solution by any means. A very poor choice as I see it for a family. Have suggested a HH55 or other similar boat would be a far better choice and almost as fast.
@@campone4292 what??? did those sentences mean anything? I'm guessing maybe English isn't your first language...or maybe bad English is your first language. did you have a point to make besides you leaving? Bon voyage....don't think you'll be missed
@@anneliesjoss two bedrooms for 4 people total plus one crew member means Riley and baby sleep in the living room. And it’s coming out now that it may take 2-4 people at all times to even be able to handle the massive sails
I believe the side wings are other sleeping berth areas if needed. I know they mentioned that in early build episodes, but don't know if it made it to finished design.
So I’m confused there is people commenting how they think there boat design is bad and how it looks bad and then others who just answer their questions and then others who just say how much they appreciate you guys and love you. But like the people making bad comments should just stop this is a great family and this would be my second life if I could have one honestly.
love that I’m not seeing another monotonous “aesthetic” beige-y interiors. They have really poured their love and made this into their own unique home. It looks amazing!
The interior isn’t my cup of tea as a feel like it will date very quickly, but it’s about u guys. Tho I’m curious to why u didn’t build bunk beds with safety nets so they don’t fall out cause still little, if that’s why it wasn’t considered.?
Guessing they don't need bunk beds with nets since the boat is so flat through the water. And the queen bed in the guest cabin is walled in. There is no way anybody is going to fall off that one.
@@angela1984a huh 🤔 never said they would fall out due to the boat it’s because they are little kids who wouldn’t use side rails or net u goose, literally every parent with little kids who have bunks use safety.. I was just curious why they didn’t consider bunks for their growing boys. The guest room isn’t a permanent space for the boys as they may always have ppl onboard.
@@J3an_j3an Goose?... Smh... Ok... I guess I read hastily and missed the kid part so I will admit to that... IIRC Elayna sleeps in the master with Darwin. Could it also perhaps be that Darwin always wakes Elayna up if he wakes up in the middle of the night? If so - then were is the problem?... IIRC Lenny sleeps with Riley in the Salon. Could it be that Lenny always sleeps between Riley and the back rest of the couch/bed? Could it be that there is a perfectly safe way to exit that bed and that Lenny knows how to do that? Such a great combination of performance and functionality. Lots of yrs racing and owning a “performance” boat. Its actually really interesting to see how most people shy away from “performance” boats out of some odd perception or fear they have. I can’t tell you how many times I took people out sailing and they say “oh wow this boat sails so easily its comfortable etc”. I really do think the term “performance” triggers a vision of grinding huge winch farms, getting green water across the deck and yelling helms persons😆😆. 12 meter Cup Racing type stuff lol. There’s nothing better than a finger light helm, sail plans that are easily trimmed for ideal performance etc. Thats a performance boat👍. I do like those Dinghy’s simple but well done.

I like trimarans a lot more than catamarans.
That green on your copper fittings is called verdigris. It is a toxic substance that forms when copper oxidises.
Can cause irritation to skin and eyes, nausea and anemia if ingested. Can cause organ damage after long or repeated exposure.
Was looking for this comment, they say it so casually “is it poisonous”. Technically yes and with Lenny’s issues I’d be careful.
it's not toxic. it may give a bit of extra copper in their water supply, but its not harmful in anyway.
@@multitablez7825 Except it is. Copper(II)-acetate/ Verdigris/ Greenspan. Copper itself is not the issue
It's actually not though, a 2-minute check on wiki says that the pigment "verdigris" and the greenish color that forms when cooper oxydizes are not the same thing. Only the pigment is toxic.
really hope they see this

Perhaps they'll consider getting a fixed place somewhere anyways and then do trips from there once the children are older :-).
I appreciate that you guys like it. Not a family friendly cruising craft, but I can appreciate seeing a dream come to fruition. Enjoy
Gonna be like needing a family van, but owning a Mustang.
Think they will sell when boys are older and maybe retire from TH-cam - boat is not made for a family.
Enjoy!
I couldn't be happier for you all. The new vessel is absolutely stunning! She's a floating work of art. Safe travels and calm seas.❤
The way Riley laughs when the boys are cute is so loving. It makes me feel good too.
What a loving Family.....WoW WE been fans before Riley told Alena "I love you" CONGRATULATIONS...keep sharing love "THE BOAT"...😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
I absolutely love the boat.
Just to let you know that the greening on the copper ( copper oxide ) is dangerous when ingested as it is TOXIC.
It's just something to keep in mind as you live with this amazing boat.
Keep up with the great videos
How do they not know this, why dint any one tell them...
Grünspan, I think the name is Copper(II)-acetate
Is that only the green stuff or will it be inside the pipes as well? I mean copper pipes are common so is it an issue?
I’ve had an induction hob at home for years but I still think it’s cool. It’s fast and easy to cook, then easy to clean after. Definitely my favourite way to cook.
This is one snazzy boat! I love love love all the colors, especially that blue and those tiles in the kitchen. The exposed carbon wall in the masters quarter looks kewl AF.
I have been watching this channel since they started it on the original La Vagabond, I am so glad Elyena had a vision for this channel. It is in my top 5 favs
When you want to touch your woodwork -- it's been done right. (When has anyone ever wanted to rub their Ikea stuff?)
Green makes us think of arsenic.
You guys bring joy to our household with every new video, our appreciation is unmeasurable, thank you!
so cool, and so inspiring!
Hi there my malor concern is on deck SAFTEY no fence to stop your kids from falling off and at the speeds you will be doing it's going to take a while to turn around to get them
an Outemer 55 would have been just as fast but Safeer
The Dream Boat - WOW! The greatest sailboat of its kind. Interior decorating is out of control Brilliant.
Awesome video guys!!! Y'all have built a beautiful ship! Can't wait to see where the wind takes you.
😮❤😊
Not getting the long term thinking around the lack of dedicated space for the children, bedroom/s?
Many people worry about things - too much. Adore the Copper turning, its safe. A labor of love - so very well done!!
Love the new boat, the decor is awesome. Looking forward to seeing more adventures. Happy New Year!
I love your new boat and its design. I am enjoying your recent voyages in the South China sea and the Philipines, looking forward to so many more
I’m so proud of you guys!
Lol this boat is the oppsite of nature!
So your battery bank could supply 43.2 kW for one hour (or half that for two hours etc.)
Loving every episode, amazing work!
It’s all Jibber Jabber to me. Darwin enthusiastically waving bye bye to strangers passing by, priceless! 🤓👶🥳
Love following you guys. I used to sail and work on ships. But nowadays on land but let’s see what the future holds.
The interior is brilliant. The Boho look fits a yacht named La Vagabonde. Truly love living vicariously through you and your family.
Happy New Year Elana, Riley, Lenny and Darwin. Beautiful boat
I’m a little confused about how there is only one main cabin and a guest cabin yet there are two kids that will grow up.
Good comment and awaiting a comment because for a 60ft boat that is very poor. All done to keep weight down.
In 2-3 years time there will be a ’more family oriented’ boat, sponsored by Ag1 and Better Help.
Some of you never grew up poor and is shows, lol...i shared a room with my brother till i was 16
@@thisguy5107 this comment would make sense if they weren’t rich
There's the saloon.
Elena,
Try replacing the cut up whiteboard with a piece of glass that has a painted back.
Any glass supplier will cut to size for your frame.
With you on the main cabin being foreword.
Lenny is becoming a very good videographer. Gorgeous new home.
@@EdwardTilley I agree. It is really too dangerous for anyone but seasoned sailors who know how to sail a racing sailboat.
@edwardtilley how much do you estimate this boat cost?
I’m from Denmark. And the way you used the word “Hygge” is spot on🥰
I'm surprised there isn't more bedrooms for Lenny and Darwin as they grow up, will you be switching boats again in the next few years?
There’s those guest quarters.
@@campone4292 Yeah. Yeah. But I have no idea what any of that means :)
Happy New Year from Cape Town, South Africa 🌍🇿🇦
love that I’m not seeing another monotonous “aesthetic” beige-y interiors.
Could it possibly be that Darwin always sleeps between Elayna and the wall. Could it also possibly be that there is a safe way for Darwin to exit that bed and that Darwin knows how to do that.
Could it be that Lenny always wakes Riley up if he were to wake up when sleeping? Riley, i think your colors are really warm, i think all white boats are just unappealing, your boat is really unique.
Happy New Year guys 🥳 Thanks a lot for all the wonderful videos you´ve made for us 🥰 Looking forward to see your new adventures in 2024 😍🤗🐠🐡🐬⛵🌅
Such a great combination of performance and functionality.
