for me, i really like the background music, it really touches me! i think its perfect fit for the ending, especially the line 'and we'll keep on fighting till the end' - just think of the longgggg campaign they endured until the end and they are the winners - THE CHAMPIONS! sniff * sniff *

Not to mention the tomb of the Scipio is a major tourist site in rome and they defeated hannible. and the brutii took out romes kings. honestly the julii is the least decorated faction. the brutii killed julius.
i unlocked about 7 factions, but i just cant open the rest. do i have to conquer europa with different factions or what. i lost faith in that to cuz i took the europa with the greeks to and nothing more happened.

@bellagar Becuase When Alexandra took Egypt they procllamed him pharo ( not sure how you spell it) then when he died his empire spilt and while Egypt and Selicuia became sperate nations they where both ruled by Greeks so it is Egyptian culture under greek influences and this is only a few hundred years after Alexandra example in game some of the Egyptian Generals are called Alexandra and the city of Alexandria.
You have to be the one who destroys their last city. The computer can do all the work and you can sneak in and take the last city. However if you destroy most of the faction and the computer finishes them you wont get them. When a faction is destroyed a notice comes up, you must be the one to cause it to come up.
The cool thing with RTW (and History/life), every faction has some kind of weakness and strengths. To get good, mess around a little bit. Experiment. find what works for YOU. Have fun ^.^ To really get good, learn to mask your weakness and put your opponent on his toes. Just learn to use your troops right. Take advantage of their every ability. Use em in unison to compliment each others' strength. Either way, just enjoy the game ;) heard they're making another one.

You need to completly destroy a faction in the campaign to be able to play as it. You can the use most in the campaigns. For some reason some like the spanish, dacians and a couple others can be used.

@dgmetalhead i finished it with 3 factions without cheats. but after that i thought i wanted to try it a different way(with money hacks and finish building hack) but it kinda cuts the fun out of the game.

When playing 1 or 2 roman families long enough and expand your empire; go back to single player and 1 or more factions shows up (neighbors fractions as Greeks, Carth., Gauls (aka Kelts)), play those and some other fractions come up next (Britn, Seul, Egypt, ... ). Yes you can play long on Rome total war. Yet I don't think you can play rebels or there amazons... damn.

yeah mostly, not to be a drag but you would just get the video that the faction's culture is closest to.

For some reason I feel sad,I got all of them ages ago,plus they are better then RTW2's cutscenese.
You have an objective when you start a campaign, short one is to get 15 cities and destroy a certain faction(s) and the long one is control 50 cities.
They are not meant to be playable so there are no cinematics made for them.
The metaphor starts to break down when you take it that far.

Why do so many people overuse apostrophes? When a word is plural you don't need an apostrophe. They are for contractions and to show possession.

You don't need to mod it dude. YOu can just change few things manually in game.
