      Don't get it wrong. EPB usually stops vehicle based on motors which run on batteries but they get charged for every normal brake cycle (regenerative).

    Is there any slight damage, Everytime the car will be made to disengage the parking break without doing it manually by releasing it from the EPB button. But automatically, by engaging the accelerator ???.. As it feels as the vechile gets into the motion, a moves a Bit before the EPB brake gets released

  • @papayaman123
    @papayaman123 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    In Hyundai, which I think is better method, the parking brake disengages as soon as you change gears. Having to press the gas is a bit nerve-wracking especially going reverse since the car already creeps when in gear.

    In my manual car, only after years of driving, I have started using the parking brake and switching to neutral when stopped at red lights. Originally, I did it to rest my feet on both the foot brake and clutch. Although, It's also safer for at least two main reasons: if rear-ended, I didn't need to keep my foot on the brake and I don't blind/bedazzle the car behind me as the bright brake lights are not on with the E-brake.
    I know the "brake hold" feature does essentially the same thing, but, my question to you and your viewers is, "Do you use the Parking Brake at red lights, and did you know that the brake lights don't turn on when the E-brake is being used?

    Okay look here's the thing I have been a car fanatic for a long time and I've had family all over the car business for a very long time. In all honesty this electronic computerized parking brake emergency brake system has got to be the stupidest thing I have ever seen. Suppose you have a problem while driving where you get an electrical failure or a battery or alternator failure and next thing you know all fails you resort to the emergency brake. So what happens when all the above happens the car has absolutely no luck for stopping. Dangerous

    • @jeangt9865

    The funny thing with electronic parking brakes is that, to mimic the manual one, "pulling up" is engaging the brake. But at the same time, usually "pushing a button" is what intuitively "engages" or "turns on" something. That's the irony with modern car tech.

    Electronic parking brakes are rubbish. Drivers should boycott cars with such nonsense. Don't buy the cars. Manufacturers will buckle under pressure and fit ordinary, normal, tested, proven, reliable, manual parking brakes.
    And...btw, who needs a video on how to push buttons in a car?

  • @albertbatfinder5240
