“Not perfect by any means” literally better built than the house I live in. Y’all do amazing work.
Near perfect by all means
😎👍
These big RVs were ahead of their time. The rear suspension is a killer way to have dual wheels while keeping you from dealing with that inside wheel’s tire pressure hassles. Great idea fixing one back up. Happy camping.
😁😁😁 We do appreciate it!
@@kimhorton6109 I thought these RVs had only been around in recent years, but I didn't expect they'd been around for so long. Their owner is truly a wealthy person.
Very impressed with the transformation on this one.
Thank you!!😊
Favorite build on youtube right now. Keep up the hard work!
I’m really glad you’re enjoying!! 😃😃 Thank you!! ☺️
Hi guys
I am a carpetlayer and done plenty of vans and people pick a easy carpet to clean because when your camping got to remember of dirt and mud plus make sure it Scotch guarded
Make sure you disconnect the plumbing from the sewage tank and flush out all the trash and debris and dirt that has fallen in all the drains over the years.
I really enjoy watching you guys. This camper is so interesting to watch the progress you’re making!
As a Rv owner I surely enjoy watching this GMC restoration. Budget Buildz is top notch in their work. Thanx 4 sharing your TH-cam conten.
That was quite the transformation for that bathroom! Looks fantastic!
Really enjoy watching you and your Dad come together to refurbish this Old Motorhome! I believe that it will be better than brand new when you have it completed! Can't wait for that to happen!!!!
You guys should be proud of that bathroom. Fantastic job.
Cheers from Down under.
WOW, the bathroom turned out great! It's starting to all come together. Can't wait for the next update!
I’m always looking forward to seeing the new update on this very cool camper. Lots of work but the end result is going to be amazing. Thanks guys!
Like the way you and your dad work together so well!
One of my favorite TH-cam channels.. This coach is going to be a real showpiece when it's finished..
You are so right about the build quality of most RVs these days. Spot on.
I swear your dad has gotten 10 years younger since he left his job to join you. Must've been stressful. Glad he's with you.
was about to say that too, i never really confused them until recently. he's definitely doing better. Love it!
Cleaning that bathroom was not a job.... it was a duty!
I see what you did there, lol.
You said duty
😁😁😁
The Teamwork between you and your Dad is just terrific!
I can just imagine the family memories that you will create. Great job.
You and your Dad have amazing skills, keep up the great work.
It's like you're reading my mind...I just happened to be thinking "I wonder how the GMC project is going", turned on TH-cam, and there it was at the top of the suggested list👍
Great job, gents!
Same here! 😊
This series has been great! This GMC will be a gem once complete…cant wait for the next vid.
I loved the look of this motorhome when they first came out. Great to see it become road worthy again.
A little tip for anyone wanting to sound deadening. Put sound deadening on the back side of the door panels. The plastic panels resonate a lot of sound. It will help alot. The motorhome is looking so good. Great job guys
YOU ARE RIGHT SIR
And under the table
At 14.00 min: 😱 A PAGODA MERCEDES ! 👍👌👏 Goodness gracious me! I hope to see a series about this iconic and extremely valuable cabriolet. Something like your fantastic series about the Porsche 911.
1:15 those wheels look awesome! well done, absolutely brings this RV to the next level. love it
I had forgot about this project, glad you posted this. GMC campers were way ahead of their time. Keep going guys. Cool project. Super stuff.
we had a 74 model which looks exactly like this one. I still remember the smell of the interior when dad brought it home. it was so dang sweet back in the day, many many days ago. thanks for sharing this.
I dont even like campers... but this series is one of my favorite automotive series on youtube. I love the rest-mod efforts and details with using the totaled modern rv to the vintage RV. Keep up the great work and content!
This writer agrees! I HATE motor homes with all their Evils and expense, but this is enjoyable to watch
Your level of craftmanship amazes me. Beautiful. Excellent work.❤
Hardest working guys on TH-cam - GREAT WORK!
I look forward to this series .
Thank You for letting us hang out .
WOW you guys did an amazing job on the bathroom!!!!
can't express how great a job you both are doing, I. love your choices, the bathroom came out spectacular. this is getting really exciting and you both are so blessed doing this as father and son, what a gift from the Lord
You and your Dad have done a great job fixing and updating the various systems on the RV. I would have done the same thing with the Bathroom/shower/toilet assembly. The quality, engineering. and craftmanship of the GMC motorhome you have easily exceeds any brand new RV out there.
Am absolutely blown away by how great that bathroom looks now - really well done!
Y'all have done an amazing job with the entire restoration. I'm very impressed with how you transformed that bathroom. I love you all's hot rod content. But I've got to honestly say I enjoy this just as much. You two don't even realize how much your teaching people that with some elbow grease and patience anything can be done. I truly envy you and your dad's relationship that you all can do this stuff together. I've never had anything like that. I'm not a religious person but the only word I can come up with is that y'all are blessed.
Absolutely superb. What a great job! Better than many new motorhomes.
Hi again.. Satisfying to watch you bring that motorhome back to life and it be useful again. Also nice to see you working with your Dad...he is quietly helping behind the scene..wish my Dad was still with me. Im now 75 semi retired metal trade worker and dad taught me a lot of what I know today. Keep up the good resto. work...Steve, On the Beautiful South Coast, New South Wales ,Australia
Thank you all for everything you do and the entertainment you provide. You are doing a beautiful job. God bless.
Incredible work man. You guys are killing it. I envy you being able to work with your Dad on it. You guys make a great team.
Amazing work! Very sympathetically done - preserving the basic look but bringing it up to date. Loving this series.
So happy to see the latest version come out, I am addicted to this series, can't wait to see it done!!!
I was reminded of you guys this week. My wife and I were driving west on Interstate 20 through Jackson , Mississippi this week and saw about 6-8 of the same thing you guys are reviving all in a convoy headed east. It was quite the site and reminded me of the this one. By the way, the one you guys are doing is looking better with each video. Thanks.
The bathroom… WOW! I’ve been watching this series from the beginning and look forward to each episode! 🎉
Looks really good! Nice work!
Brings back memories, my brother had a '73 with the same floor plan that we enjoyed over the years. Too bad my sister in-law didn't offer me the chance to buy it from the estate when he passed. She called a junkyard and had it hauled away.
You guys are amazing at what you do with all the old vehicles you bring back to life. I love your videos.
I’m new to watching your channel and your video is fabulous. I love how you actually talk to us while you are fixing stuff. A lot of videos I have watched are either no talking or just music. Thanks for including your viewers and I’ll certainly keep watching 😊
This series is what got me subbed
We’re very glad to have you!! Really hope you’re still enjoying 😊
Great work! I love your channel!
This is still, By FAR, my favorite of your rebuilds...🤟🤗
The Bathroom looks AMAZING! 😍🥰👏
Amazing rebuilding process.....you guys are knocking it out of the ballpark.
I think the bathroom update is great.. you guy's are so good at remodeling this old GMC.. Cheers from Missouri!
Bathroom and door panels look amazing for a budget build!… can’t wait for the next one.
I have a very original 1974 Airstream Argosy 20' motorhome that I am refreshing. These videos are inspirational as well as informational. Can't thank U enough and keep them coming!
Awesome work on this Ultimate Rescue.
Best Rv build on TH-cam hands down 2024👍👌
As far as the carpet goes I would suggest use the same stuff from the bathroom. That EAV decking. I think that stuff looks pretty good and it is easy to clean too. Keep keeping S.C. proud!
Heyyyy!! I see that CJ sitting back there!! Jeep gang! Let's goo!!!
Enjoying the caper rebuild. You are displaying great attention to detail. Looking forward to seeing the final product when completed.
First time seeing someone bore a 2 1/8" hole to start a jig saw cut! Seriously though, you guys are killing it.
It's looking awesome. I've been following this entire rebuild. 👍👍
Hey guys, it's just an enjoyable journey watching you give it a face lift. Excited for you and your family. Can't wait to see your first outing in it.
Really enjoying the GMC Motor Home rebuild. Getting a lot of great ideas from you for my 1975 GMC coach. Thanks for sharing your progress.
Thanks for the update on the ol' girl Michael! Y'all are doing an amazing job on 'er! I ever stop having issues with my back I'll try to get by there and say hello! God bless! ~ Scott 💙🙏🏼
Love watching the work on the GMC, you’re doing an awesome job. The bathroom transformation was incredible. Love what you did to update the sink area. Keep up the great work. 👍🙌👏🤙
Great video! Love these GMC motor homes since the 70s. Really enjoy the work you two are doing.
Looking forward to the 225 also.
Thanks 😊
I love this series. One of my favorite. You guys are doing an amazing job. The bathroom turned out amazing. When I redid my motor home I did not use the sound deadening material. Wish I would have thought of that myself.
Looking fantastic, much love from The Senior Confessor, England
Did good. Enjoying watching you all
Absolute awesome project. And this lovely camper is so different compared to what we have here in Europe. Different in a positive way - I simply love it ❤
This is the best restoration project on TH-cam.
You guys are doing a great job, the bathroom looks amazing. Love all your thinking and reasoning behind all the decisions you make.
Amazing job. Can't wait to see this project when it's done.
Michael, I've said it before, this is one of your best series yet. The Porsche was the best, in my opinion, and this is number two. Good stuff. Hey, a suggestion, if you don't mind: in your bathroom cabinet, I noticed some rusty discoloration. Something that may work in getting that out is muriatic acid - yeah, acid. It won't harm the fiber glass and a little bit on an old rag should do it. give it a try. It works. Wear gloves though!
Looks great bathroom guys. Look forward to the next episode.
You are doing a great job on this. The transformation has been amazing.
Man, I have wanted one of these since I got the Hot Wheels version in 1981. I've been following this one closely. Great work.
These motorhome videos are the best. Keep up the great work!
Love this build. Can't wait til you guys can have fun camping in it!
Again a good Team is at work here ! The Bathroom is looking nice and very professional rebuild, and i love the small but important details. Like that counter top and the sliding doors, the wood giving it little bit extra. And the sound proofing is more than okay, it will bring some more comfort when driving. Side paneling is given a great update with the wood arm wrest and is making the picture complete ! Love this video very much and wish you both lots of success with oncoming jobs on this great Motor home !
This is like ASMR for me at work. Keep up the good work!
Fantastic work. Awesome attention to detail and workmanship ship. Keep up the great content.
great job on the bathroom... enjoying watching the transformation!
You guys are doing a great job 🎉. It's going to be really nice and functional. You will have so much fun with it. Thanks for showing us we can do it too.
Discount the haters.
There are lots of great suggestions from folks. I love your content and what you're doing here. Keep it coming. I'm living in Thailand and exploring the possibilities for a travel live in to explore.
Love this conversion restoration
Great fun watching this series…thanks!
Black rubberized carpet for the driving cockpit area, remember high traffic areas where a house like carpet will wear and tend to get dirty easily. Great work guys!
It's coming along great. Nice job guys.
Good one! Maybe caulk the edges of the countertop to prevent water from getting in?
Looking good 👍 The bathroom looks great. I was surprised you were able to re-use so much of the original. You did a great job cleaning it up. And the countertop looks awesome! Keep up the good work. I can't wait for the next installment!
I love that you folks are working on the GMC, i see this and it reminds me of the movie Stripes. I await anxiously for the vids of this remodel, well done!!!
I too thought of the green EM-50 Urban Assault Vehicle ever time i see a GMC RV
@@m-dv3os Hahahha omg I need to watch it soon!!!
You guys really think out of the box. The bathroom transformation was spot on. The sound deadening up front will really make driving much more comfortable. I'm not sold on your latch for the battery and tank. If the screws are not into any metal framing, it would only be time until the weight of things bouncing against the latch pulling the screws out. If you want to keep your fix, try this. Take a large long bolt with a flat washer, drill a hole in each slide tray, drop the bolt in so it drops deeper than the metal frame. Trays are not going to come out!
The bathroom looks great!
the RV is coming out nice ....good job ...can't wait to be finish
This build Rocks! Cant wait to see what's next.
Love this channel! I am literally captivated by this project! You and your father inspire me!
Hi there! I've seen all the videos of this wonderful restoration. I'm really amazed of all you've made on that RV I hope I could visit you one day and meet you. Best regards from Mexico
Hello Guys; I always look forward to seeing all of your videos no matter what you are working on. Can’t wait to see your motor home fully completed. I love the fact that both of you approach things in a humble, but very positive manner which makes this one of my favorites here on TH-cam.
There are a few of the TH-cam channels that I have backed away from because they really change their attitude towards their subscribers once they “Hit The Big Time Status”, So To Speak. Thanks for keeping things fun for everyone.
that looks great,it looks clean and works, that is all you need.
looks amazing what you have done updating. Looks brand new.
