    I really like the intro on your videos. The Google earth thing is a sweet touch.

    Because I usually cycle alone, I keep reminding myself not to hug the gutter. Meaning I keep away from the double yellow lines at least a metre on the right of it. This will make drivers actively overtake me instead of doing a close pass. Make it impossible for them to make a close pass. If they still do it and something happens, liability is with them and you have video evidence. I ride with Fly12 and Fly6 for this reason. Even when I am slowed down on a climb and there are two or more lanes available, motorists still have to actively overtake you. I also remind myself not to paiseh and wave them to pass because if I do and something happens I take liability for waving them to pass. So just hold your straight line. Even climbing on viaducts, I don’t take the breakdown lane for reasons I made clear on your other video. Use the lane vehicles use. On the road you become traffic and must behave like traffic.
    Also helps to buy insurance also.

    How did you do an animated route on google map?

    • @SamHoChannel
      @SamHoChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      you need to download the google earth pro software to your pc. then export gpx data from strava and import it to google earth pro.

      @@SamHoChannel Great, thanks!!! I'm a very lazy rider. Don't ride very often. Thinking of getting xoss g+ to get those measurements as overlay

    What cycle map do you use?

    ...and that taxi drove into the bus lane to overtake you, instead of using the outer lane to do so. Very naughty.

      @SamHoChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      hi bro, i am still newbie, i do not know how to suggest you. but i own a canyon endurace cf frame, 105 groupset with clamp brake. around 2k sgd. 900-1200 can only get alu frame and maybe tiagra groupset.

      @@SamHoChannel is tiagra group set good?

    • @SamHoChannel
      @SamHoChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      good, but only 10speeds. hard to upgrade next time. 105 groupset onwards is 11speeds. can upgrade to ultegra.

      Report them. I’ve submitted a total of 4 close pass videos to TP. No news from them. Just submit. If something did happen tragically, at least there is data. Data for them to mull over and decide the action for better safety.
