Thanks for sharing 👍🙏.
Your are welcome bro
For the wax to last longer you could mix it with some beeswax as it's stickier than just paraffin wax alone, also when you're waxing it you should wait and let the wax cool a little first, don't just take the chain out right away, that way more of the wax gets retained in the chain instead of it dripping out. Are you cassette and chain anodized?
My chain is not anodized…
Beeswax: really bad idea. It stops the paraffin wax sticking to the chain.
I have been using the Oz method for 4 years, funcionally it is superiour to oil in every way. But I am having some doubts on how safe it is health wise to handle micronised PTFE.
Any sign of your health deteriorated after 4 years?
Boil it in oil. It's a thousand times better.
Interesting.. any link to share?
Boiling oil: not recommended by any authority on the subject.
@@zygmuntthecacaokakistocrat6589 It's been done forever... And works very good.
@@SamHoChannelJust Google it...
bro, how much do you spend on bike maintenance a month?
Very low.. only re-wax.. for bike service I send in every 3-4months.. less than 50usd eaxh service
Why use petrol? It stinks, stains, and is greasy. Use mineral turpentine/mineral spirits.
I came across a TH-cam video and used petrol + degreaser… and I find my chain is super clean after.. maybe next time can try turpentine.. 🤔
