Hi John, George, Esther. Greetings from the UK. Glad to hear you all survived the wind and water....... twice. Never did get around to fitting that LHD centre console and handbrake lever you found for us and the car is now sold. BEST WISHES TO All John Oborn
@@LHTPerformance I could have watched that for another couple minutes haha. Very satisfying, especially so since it was for my car. You weren't kidding.. it does feel like it picked up 20hp. Happy to drop off a coffee card when I'm there next :)
10:30 AP1 wheels are on my 2002. Honda Stream Mugen, with spacers in the back. And just the other day I was telling to my colegue about that screwdriver trick. Cheers!
Hard to believe a S2000 owner hasn't changed the plugs for owning the car for so long. Curious how the brake and clutch fluid looked? Diff fluid and transmission fluid as well. Curious and excited for a part 2 when he returns for that TLC. Gorgeous S2000!
Great work, John and George.👏 I love the random shop videos and the sheer volume of helpful information you guys pack into them. Man, you took me back in time with that long screwdriver as a stethoscope trick.👍🏼 I first saw that as a young teenager when the "Chief" (the name he went by as he was Cherokee) mechanic at our local Toyota dealership did that to listen for knock in one of the cylinders. I remember being amazed when he handed me the screwdriver and told me to give it a try. He was ASE certified as well as old-school cool. Great man and educator. Here I was thinkin there weren’t any guys like that still out there... then came you. Haha. Good stuff, John!😎👍🏼 Have a great weekend, sir.
Man that S2K radiator is about to pop with the plastic tank turned that olive green color. It’s a big problem on Miatas since they’re so prone to overheating and blowing head gaskets with their poor coolant flow. Probably just an inconvenience on S2K’s.
Hi John. Just had the CEL pop up on my AP1 for cylinder 1 misfire. I have a set of your coil clips in my basket right now and was wondering if there are any other kits/gaskets/seals in your store that I might need getting down to the bottom of the issue. Thanks for the always great content!
Always do the basic and cheap parts. Change the coil clips, injectors clips and cam sensor plugs. If the spark plugs had been checked / changed, check those. Then have the injectors checked and cleaned. We’re seeing injectors coming in that are flowing terrible and out of balance. Then of course the valve adjustment, another culprit to mis fires

@@JohnOborn-u1v Thanks my friend.
That was a while ago, I wondered if you ever installed it. Bring it by, I’ll do it while you wait 😉
Going the extra mile again, so nice to see 👍👍👍👍.
Absolutely the most important and best pit Stop any S2000 could make, Like others mentioned attention to details is inspiring 🇺🇸👍
You guys truly are the best in the biz
Why is it so satisfying and mesmerizing to watch a fuel injector cleaning?! 😂
Thanks. It actually takes some time I figured people wouldn’t want to watch it.

All the fluids were done not too long ago.
I always appreciate your attention to detail! Thanks for sharing these videos!! 👏🎉

Never thought of the screwdriver rip as old, damn, got me.
Nice, full of gold nuggets, this video!
Love the LHT video content!!
Can’t wait to get my car worked on here. See y’all soon!
I live in South Florida, one day I'll take my S2000 for you guys to work on
I recommend not waiting as long as I did. You'll be amazed at what they find and fix, and how much better your s2k will drive.

The next chance you get, you should do a how to on the S2K side strakes 😊
We just installed some on the ‘Super Stealth package ‘. We should have done one then.

Woohoo, 9th gen content 🎉
John I'm wondering what your process is regarding the injector cleaner? What type of cleaner are you using in that machine?
wouldnt the belts need changing as well? especially the timing belt
No. The belt was was replaced not too long ago. The engine doesn’t use a timing belt.
Do yall know if that bearing works on the civic si pully?
It’s fits the B series and D series idler pulley. We also confirmed it fits the k series idler pulley ( like the EP3 , 8 th gen civic si )
Is that a factory shade of blue? Looks great!
It’s not. It’s a Porsche color, midnight blue metallic I believe
Almost looks like ITR Nighthawk Black Pearl.
Bloody hell, it's "misfire."
