Played this bass part today at church surprised my worship leader (guitar player). He really liked it. My bass only has four strings so I improvised a bit, but thank you so much for the encouragement by playing it and at least having the notes. thanks again GOD Bless!

Really great groove and feel. I see so many less disciplined bass players overplay and try to cram runs in where they don't go and forget their job of holding the pocket solid. You anchored, made the song swell (build) with emotion, and added perfect fills at just the right time and the right amount. Very well done.

Hey MIke! awesome video. Just wondering if there is a difference to you playing these songs or worship in general on the 5 string bass as opposed to the normal 4 string? do you use the Low B often?
+joshua evanock Thanks Joshua! I use the 5-string for 5 notes Eb, D, Db, C and B:-). So, there's primarily no difference in the way I'd approach the song with a 4- string vs. the 5, aside from having access to those occasional powerful low notes. Hope that answers your question. Hi Mike. I am still learning the fretboard and do not have the expertise you enjoy. I do have this question about your labeling at :16 in the video. Should your label say "7th fret" instead of "5th fret"? Again, I really enjoy your work and ministry, so don't think I'm being a wiseacre here. -rv

Godson Samuel Hi Samuel, (sorry for my delay, been out of town) my bass is a 5-string tuned B,E,A,D,G. I'm primarily using the 4 strings EADG on the song until around 2:53. Let me know if that answers your question. Thanks! Mike

Not sure. Mine is the American model and sounds pretty good, in my opinion.
