    Thanks for the video! I just placed an order for a 17VS-E/C (electric with conveyor) and was originally thinking of a custom color but decided to go with their gray (which I think makes for a very nice looking splitter). After seeing yours, I might have to revisit this…it would be cool to have a splitter that the astronauts on the International Space Station could see from space! 😄

    I think your technique is spot on,…split a round in half, then split the halves into slabs, then split the slabs into whatever size splits you desire. That’s what I do with my Super Split.

    I'd like to see it split Shore Pine we have on the west coast. Some of the nastiest wood to split

      That hickory had a lot of internal knots. Smooth on the outside but when you split it , you find the internal knots and the piece ends up curved on the split
