That’s crazy that’s not splitting. What tonnage is the splitter? The excavator should have plenty of hydraulic fluid to feed the splitter. You eventually got it. Maybe those knots were just really tough.
@@jasonpinnix1905 yeah hickory is tough and I have ran into stuff I couldn’t split. I thought those excavator splitter has way more power than than a normal splitter.

The spliter will have way more power on the pushstroke than the pull and get the job done
I noticed that as I used it a bit more .
