new trucks in general are expensive, I got the best pricing available with 2.9% APR. I don't regret getting a single cab

I would have bought a used cheap, reliable truck or van and worked without racking up more debt. Debt if the fastest business killer.

I'm not sure how long you leave your truck unattended while on the job (ie. inside a client's house or business or restaurant), but I would be concerned about theft. Have you considered buying a top for the back of that pickup? Perhaps an enclosed trailer? For locking purposes.

Transit connects are pretty horrible have a client that had 5 transits and all of them had tranny issues at 100k miles AC always goes out just in those two issues you’re looking at 6-10k plus the time you’re down!
my transit connect treated me great. 120k miles with no issues. just change trans fluid every 25k miles, oil change 5k miles, and AC was ice cold for the time I had it.

I'm in CA where everything is overpriced, not a single truck or van here cost under 20k usd new. you're lucky to walk out with a brand new van for 35k.\

my opinion, it made detailing vehicles easier, it was very easy to grab stuff and put it back.
