Bought one of these with an extremely low shutter count for about $700. Still pretty really pricey for 10 year old camera, but I have been having so much fun with it and it gives me a reason to go out and explore my city every weekend.
I was just about to trade in my X100-T for a X100-F, then found your Video. You have made me re-think and ultimately save money that I just didn't need to spend. It's the photographer not the camera. Cheers.
@@AndyCombes I have tried many 'recipes' in the past. I have purchased several. I always return to what I like which are high-contrast, deep colors, and a tweaking toward underexposed photos. I have not found an in-camera process that I really like. Therefore, I do post-editing in Capture One using the many controls and features available.
I had a Fujifilm Finepix x100, the first one, it's an amazing camera despite the age and the 12mpx, I took some amazing photos with it and sometimes I really miss not to have it with me anymore. I think all camera's from the x100 line are amazing.
Interesting video! Loved the shots you got. I’ve been wanting an X100 series forever. I wish that there wasn’t a “Fuji tax” these days. There’s so much inflation on the gear prices for this series. That being said, great photos. You got a steal getting this for $500. Wow. 😮
Hii! I love this video sm, I’ve been questioning whether or not but this model, and after watching this I totally will! If you dont mind me asking, what settings/recipe did u use for ur pictures to look warm toned?
i love the dreamy aesthetic to your photos!! do you mind me asking what type of diffusion filter you used? i also have a x100t but im struggling to select a filter for it
Is it normal for Fuji colors to have a lot of magenta in them? I’ve had this camera for a long time and that’s one thing I could never understand, so much magenta. I figured I had something set up wrong but not sure what. I was shooting in raw and using kelvin wb.

The X100T has the same sensor as the X-T1, which many people love for image quality. I like my X100T and it does a great job.
Hi, I have the same camera. May I ask do you have an y good film recipes that work well on the camera Thank you

Really loved this review, thank you! I definitely resonate with a lot of what you said, and I think I’ll be purchasing one as my first proper camera 😊
Thanks I hope you enjoy it!

Thanks so much! Yeah I realized after I posted this you prob can’t find it for $500 anymore but it’s still gotta be way cheaper than the V
I love the colors of your photos!!
What film recipes do you use??
I did just the same. Got a X100T and I love it.
Glad you’re enjoying it!
Really enjoyed the video, I just recently got this camera. Could you share the link of where you got that lens hood?

I actually bought one for 12.9k shutter count for 400. Really loving it so far
i love the dreamy aesthetic to your photos!! do you mind me asking what type of diffusion filter you used? i also have a x100t but im struggling to select a filter for it
Thank you! I use a 1/8th pro mist filter
That’s a very inspiring video. Thank you!
Glad you found it inspirational!
damn this video really makes me want to take photos again with my x100t, its been a while... subscribed!
great video. love the look and info.
Thank you!
Hi Chris, interesting vid about the x100t. I was wondering when you bought yours was the shutter count high on the camera? Thanks Matt
I looked when I got it but I don’t remember. It wasn’t very high tho

These photos are amazing, just picked up one of these as well. Im curious what simulations you used for your photos!
Thanks so much! I mostly use a custom Portra 400 recipe that @kingjvpes made and the monochrome one.
@@faded_memorycan you share the Settings ? Thanks!
@@GOekks he made a whole video on the settings
Love that camera...totally agree with you !!! Thanks !!!
Wonderful message!
Thank you!
Can you show what kind of film simulation you use?
I use a lot of different ones. Just experiment!
Excuse me, I'm thinking of buying one, the grain is added by the camera or do you do it later in editing? thank you. :)
Grain added in editing

Hmm idk I haven’t noticed this issue
Love the channel grest information
Thank you!
What lens are you using for your x100t?
It’s a fixed lens camera
Black and white settings ?
I just used the monochrome film simulation
The camera is x100t but the caption is x100v , which is it?
I’m talking about the x100t in relation to the x100v so I mention both cameras, not sure what you mean. The camera I use is clearly the x100t
How’s $1,250 a cheap alternative? 👎🏼
Just looked and saw a bunch for under that price lmao but ok. Even still, relatively cheap compared to the x100v.
Compared to 2000$ x100v, yes 1250 is much cheaper
