Man, I LOVED Manic Frustration! Couldn't get enough of it when it came out and still love it today. YES! Thresher were great! I'll have to order those Cavalera records. I was gonna pass but you've changed my mind. Yes, I'm one of the 100 looking for HEAL! Haha! Wish Brutal Planet would be able to do that one.
Yeah, I love Manic Frustration now, but I just didn't get the stoner thing at the time. Didn't like Monster Magnet either. At that time I just wanted my metal heavier...that's why I got into sludge about that time. Slower and heavier! Definitely get the Cavalera records....so good. I can't wait to see them again at the end of the month!

Killer update Steve!! I guess I should’ve went to the Overkill show up here last month. Like you, that Trouble 1990 s/t is in my top ten metal records too!! And yes to my memory Trouble and Monster Magnet were the first two bands (only two??) I knew doing that stoner thing that early. I guess I need to pull that Heathen debut, it’s been years. Very cool you have or just about have all those Sepultura albums! Have a good one! Cheers!!
I forgot about Monster Magnet...wasn't really a fan of them when they came out, never revisited them. Love the Cavalera rerecording, looking for ward to seeing them next month, think they're playing Morbid Visions and Bestial Devastation in full this time around. I wonder if they're gonna go the Taylor Swift route and rerecord all of the original Sepultura stuff?
So the Cavalera album is actually two Cavalera brothers redoing Morbid Visions by Sepultura? That was interesting Steve. You showed some titles that I was not familiar with. Enjoyed it~ Rob/Boston
Yeah, Iggor and Max Cavalera were the founding members and main songwriters of Sepultura. The originals are very primitive pressings, so it's cool they've redone them. Max's son Igor is also playing bass on the album, so 3 of the 4 members are Cavalera's.
Yeah, that was a nice bonus. It's insane what some of these different color pressings are going for, and you never know what pressings will shoot up in value.
I've been more into hardcore / punk lately myself steve. I really love Refused from Sweden they are really awesome! I'm sure you probably know of them.🤔🤘
I definitely know Refused, but never really got into them. I actually just sold my OG pressing of The Shape of Punk to Come now that the price has gone up quite a bit.

No, it's the black. I've heard that a lot of people had issues with the blue pressing...this one sounds killer.
Breaking the Silence is my favorite Heathen album! Was hoping that Overkill tour was coming through Ohio but no luck.
I was so glad they came through. They were the only early thrash band that I hadn't seen live. Seeing Heathen too was just a bonus!
