Thanks really appreciate that. 👍I always find it a struggle getting good footage and doing other tasks at same time... Could spend hours... Love doing this. Thanks again 🙂
An honest vlog video 😊. One channel of old which was a personal favourite was head to the hills. God bless the lad. He had a backpack for essentials and a sainsbury poly bag he kept his food in etc.. Great job Twiggy😊😊
Your vids just keep getting better Twiggy, you looked so happy and content. It was nice to hear your chats in this one, simplistic, authentic and calming, it’s nice seeing your set up in action, I love that. Backstage Escapes… what a privilege for us. As always Thank you 😊 best wishes, Sarah… ps sure it’s not the rutting deer 🦌 mooing? They are so loud 😅
Thanks Sarah, I really enjoy filming, just seem to need more time, the daylight runs out quickly when we're multi tasking cooking, filming, setting up tent, thanks for the great comment... Real appreciate that, love everything about this, white edge my fave place, u could be right about the deer. Never thought of that... Looking forward to seeing your nxt vid Sarah 👍🐱
@@twiggyescapes yes it’s the height of rutting season and although photographers are out in force to capture their best pics we prefer to spend all night out there listening to them instead 🤣 always makes me smile that does. I know what you mean re running out of time. But you capture what you can and want to and that’s the best thing about your channel, how relaxed you are. If it happens it happens if it doesn’t it doesn’t. The best part about all this is the camp isn’t it? 😊also…I loved your cats intro 🐈 I might take some inspiration from this…stay tuned ✨
Looked nice and calm up there mate, such a shame I couldn't join you. Although it was a good job I didn't attempt to train up, because on the Sunday all the trains from Sheffield were cancelled back home. Great video as always. We'll try and catch up when I'm next up in the Peaks. 👍
Tis the season for the dreaded Clag. That spot looks nice, and White edge isn't too far away for me. Hoping to break in my new winter jacket (Rab Axion Pro) on my next overnight adventure. Got DIY to do this weekend to prep the house for City fibre installation. Running some new LAN cables, and then taking son for a driving lesson. Hopefully it will be the last one as he has his test next week. Hoping to get out over bonfire weekend. I need another camp as I missed my last planned outing due to Babet. Stay safe Mick.
It is a great place to camp Andy, just enough level space for a small tent. It's easy to find, and quite sheltered too there.. Highly recommend.. Hope u get out soon 👍
Absolutely love your videos, White edge is my favourite edge, there’s a calmness about it. Love this spot, I think I know where it is and I’m going to have a go and look for it. As it’s rutting season the deer will be ok do you think, no angry Stags? Thanks again for your great videos, nice simple wild camping 👍🏻
Think you'll be fine in that spot, it's easy to find, I've never seen deer in that spot, they tend to be lower down towards the road end... Cheers hope u make it, it's well worth it 👍
Hi Sarah, I use a manfroto beefree travel tripod, it's carbon but small to carry, extension to head height very stable in wind... Its not cheap but it's good. Are u out this weekend?. Need a vid fix from u 👍
Great, me too, weather looks good later today, normally I can't wait to get out... Not feeling it right now. Stay in lazy mode...Hope it goes well Sarah 🙂
@@twiggyescapes I’m feeling it, I think the best windows is this afternoon as another storm is coming! And I’m not a chaser ha ha. I’m staying local so depends where my vibes take me. Considering a tarp purchase 😅
@@SoloSarahBX. Think I'm going to Burbage, get myself in gear. Think we're lucky to be able to camp on doorstep... Don't have a tarp... Interested what u end up getting.. 🏕️
You are the most laid back camper on TH-cam. That is the attraction for watching so keep it up. Great stuff.
Cheers, Its hard not to be calm in these beautiful places, way different from the city Sheffield where I live. Glad u enjoyed it. Many thanks 🙂👍
Absolutely stunning work my friend, these shots are phenomenal!
Thanks really appreciate that. 👍I always find it a struggle getting good footage and doing other tasks at same time... Could spend hours... Love doing this. Thanks again 🙂
Fabulous wide shots especially those with clouds moving past. Hope the inside of your tent stayed dry.
Thanks for sharing your adventure. Stay safe.
Cheers Jo, never seem to have enough time to film before the light fades, glad you liked it. Many thanks 👍

Cheers, that's funny, I wouldn't dare put my camera gear in a 10p shopping bag. Thanks for the comment 👍🙂

Yes good job u didn't travel Mark, it was surprisingly very dry in that spot, and very calm. Hope to join u soon at some point mate. 👍

Another great video nice to see someone actually camping an not all about cooking steak keep up the good work 👍
Thanks. Didn't realise so many people cooked steak... I just enjoy the scenery.. That's enough. Happy Christmas. 🏕️🙂

2:01 beautiful spot to set up camp
I lucky enough to live only 15 mins from this location, it's always pretty empty of people. My fave place. Thank u 🙂👍
White Edge is a great place,I was walking myself last week, quite boggy in places. Deer also sounds similar to cows, there is a lot up there 🤙
It is a really quiet place, especially on Sunday night Dom, maybe they were deer I cold hear yes. Recommend Dom. Cheers 👍
Hey Twiggy, I think I may have asked you before but what tripod is it you use? I’d like to get one instead of messing with my selfie stick 😊

What's the umbrella you use?
It's a Euroschirm lite flex.. Strong and not much weight.
0:41 little muddy
1:19 beautiful
Nice one twiggy 🏕️will have to give white edge a go before winter kicks in
Cheers Swifty, it's easy to get to and park too.
