I have been speech jammed by an echoing xbox microphone so many times.
Isolates your voice and plays it back into your ears with direction specific sonic speakers at a slight delay...makes most people stumble and stop talking
It is kinda crazy how much this can affect people, and some more than others.. even when i hear my voice feedback play through anothers mic in a meeting for work i just. Can. Not. Think. Clearly... Its so bizzare how much it affects me, and others.

Apparently you can train against it, though you'll usually have to speak slower.

All it does it repeat what you're saying at a slight delay. Hearing yourself speak is natural, but hearing the words slightly delayed screws up your flow.
It works by replaying whatever the speaker says back to them on a short delay. People simply can’t maintain a speech while hearing their own words echoed back at them

I think that if you used a totally different camber, like an old timey announcer for instance, you could speak as you intend to since you’re so much more focused on the rhythm of your speech than normal.

You’ll notice it being used on you, this video is misleading. It just repeats back what you say on a specific delay. Personally, I got sick of being interrupted constantly so I developed my speech to talk over anyone who interrupts

All I'm gonna say is I'm 32, when I was just 9 my grandfather told me about his friends in the military who talked about how they would pull up to small villages and play a sound that would basically make you drop to the ground in pain and make it impossible for people to fight back unless you had special headphones to protect your ears. And then they would walk up to anyone with an AK and pop them right there and off they would go. But the military would never tell you about it since thats not an "honorable" way to fight.
Believe what you want but never had I heard my grandfather lie, he was a very literal and straightforward person and had never even heard of him telling a white lie to my grandmother. So if he was telling the truth I could only imagine this kind of technology nowadays and how much worse its going to get.
PS my grandfather invented shit. Small computer parts, engine modification, software. He was extremely intelligent. So like I said believe what you want.
