      Definitely one you want to get to soon, it's a very wild ride! Given how much you enjoyed Bright Doors, you're going to have a blast with this one, it's even more chaotic and imaginative. Luriat is mentioned in passing, so they take place within the same multiverse, something I forgot to mention when talking about this book - there was just so much to unpack!

      @@OnlyTheBestFantasyNovels the one novel that really gave me problems with how wild it was was Jeff Vandermeer's Dead Astronauts. Have you read that one?

I'm determined to read his Ambergris trilogy first because that's what I've had sitting on my shelf for too long, but then I got an ARC for the new Area X book so I want to re-read that first. Once those are out of the way I'm going to read everything he's ever written, lol.
