Valvetronic does not miss. I’m planning on buying an F80 M3 sometime in December and was curious what exhaust setup to go for. I should’ve known you guys had the best sound for this car. I had a Valvetronic setup on my E92 M3 as well. I appreciate this so much, thank you.
I couldn't tell what it sounds like WOT with the valves closed in every given situation. I'm old. So, it's very important for me to make sure I know it can be tamed. I recommend doing identical runs of every sort (interior and exterior) with the valves opened and closed. I wouldn't make a purchase decision without more thorough sound testing. This is missing out on selling to an entire market where quietness is as if not more important than loudness.
we invite you to look at the eight other videos that we’ve made on this exhaust configuration for this vehicle. If you’re not convinced that this is the best exhaust solution on the market, I’m hard-pressed to say that you’ll find anything else that will fit your needs. We take our sound testing and videos extremely seriously and although this is missing one key criteria, factory valve operation indicates that the exhaust valves would open under wide-open throttle applications
How does this set up work for normal commuting? Is it civil enough for daily driving around town? Your videos are great for demonstrating the sound up high with the valves open and at 100% throttle. But your in car video is with valve open all the time and never below 4000 rpm. Trying to decide if this will be too loud and unbearable for daily driving, especially with catless downpipes. You had a great presentation for daily driving in your F90 video, but could not find any in the F80 videos..
it is 100% usable in low RPM and normal drivers situations. You’d even be convinced to think the car is still bone stock. The muffler we use is quad chambered to allow for drastic sound reduction for a perfect daily experience.
@@valvetronic Just a quick question, what specifically is the difference with using the Titanium variant compared to the SS? I want to know if its worth the money for me to go for the Titanium.
People are starting to realize that *most* of what catless DPs contribute is an awful smell, a CEL, and an unbearably loud car with the valves open, especially when paired with a single midpipe. Maybe you pick up a couple HP, but nothing you're going to feel on the butt dyno. Kies has shown you can you break the 1000 HP mark with both primary and secondary *factory* cats left intact. IMO the way to go is Active's GESI catted DPs. They flow much more than stock and don't sound like crap like catless do. Pair them with whatever equal length mid and rear you like and can afford and you're Gucci. Now that I have the Active DPs, I'm putting my Eisenmann catless up for sale on bimmerpost.
that is the true sound, we were not full throttle during many of those clips. on the street it is challenging to be full throttle at all times so we did this to showcase what the car sound like under many different situations
Love your videos and product guys but please accelerate it correctly, first part it sounded so irregular (from 3 to 5 min) I thought what an ugly sound but then after that it shows the real sound from your system
neither system will rust. Titanium is just a more unique experience. The system is more beautiful in the car, saves weight and provides some more exotic sound tone

thank you so much for your support brother, we are always trying to push the ball forward And this exhaust is no exception.
Sounds sick!! I got an RS3 and some of the sounds coming out of it reminds me of this. Great setup!
Fire! Love the sound with the non-resonated free flow downpipes!

whats tip and material did u use and why arent yall vids blowing up
Holy shit, might have to dump the single mid from vrsf and get these instead of just buying a remux axle. Sounds like a fucking F1 car lowkey
everyone has been doing the same, the traditional single mid is no longer the wave. This is it.

do you guys review your videos before uploading them?
is there an issue?

Does it have gts startup roar? That startup pause growl sounds beautiful

can yall do a vid on g35 skyline and g37 journey,, sport, x, base model
I love it. But for someone who aims for performance, we have seen better numbers with catless downpipes and a single midpipe.
What numbers? I have yet to see a dyno comparison

can u do comparison between f80 m3 cs and comp
from 6:00 or so on, the sounds from in the cabin are almost slo-mo making it difficult to determine the true sound.

Whats the benefits of a titanium system vs a stainless steel one? Is there a major sound difference or is titanium mainly to stop rust?
