Doing Gods work here. Now if we could get SW to fix their product claims. That crease section blend is OMG. How are you offsetting that outside edge - are you rebuilding from scratch, or ??
I think the corner crease is a loft with only one guide curve (the outside corner) and a mid profile to control the width and angle of the surface... I need to go and rewatch it to be 100% sure! The file is in the description if you want to pull it apart.
Such great content Andrew. Thank you for sharing. Doing some experiments myself off the back of your videos - I’ll share them to LinkedIn & tag you when I do as your videos have been a big inspiration.
I think that'd be tougher than the Macbook. Here's a link to a pic I took of our old iMac. You can see the edge is not planar in the corners. They've decoupled the rear from the corner. discourse.mcneel.com/t/how-to-create-a-curved-surface-on-a-rounded-square/137844/17?u=andrew9

Sounds good, looking forward to it!
Amazing Andrew! Looks so good!
Tony here BTW
Hi Tony, yeah it scrubbed up ok :)
Hi AJ, Great content.
Do you think this would work if the top surface has slight curvature rather than being a planar surface?
Yes it will, but it'll require a fair amount of rework, both if it is an extruded top or compound curvature top.
@@AndrewJacksonDesignStudio It would be great to see your approach to applying this to one of the compound curved back iMacs.

The bottom screws are also gold colour on this model by the way.
Good stuff. Not really my focus but thanks.
not sure why color matters in a CAD model but okay
