@@Sabirreboiii Yes. Very clever, has a Jenna like character in Wickie. And Paula Pell is great, as a writer and an actor. I always loved when she would turn up in 30 Rock
That Jack and Jenna rapid fire, back and forth interrogation about her age is one of my favorite scenes in this series. There's another one I forget what season where there's a noise only people over 40 can hear and Jenna's pretending not to hear it too. Huh-larious.
Jane Krakowski is the only person who could say that a Sheikh won her in a poker game and that she was dating OJ Simpson and he wanted to murder her and I’d completely believe her 😂
Even in a show with as high a bar for constant hilarity as 30 Rock, Jenna Maroney was a comical cut above. No matter how funny and engaging, every character in that show had an occasional moment where the joke was just a little too forced, or the character's personality and/or angle of humor just felt a little tired or stretched - but it never seemed to happen with Jenna. Her jokes just always landed and she was consistent comic gold.
Her character was constantly, intentionally forced, ridiculously megalomaniac, that's why it worked. Also, her jokes were not "crazy-cuckoo" clichés, the writers came up with the most absurd scenarios for her lol
Some of these moments remind me of Alexis Rose… like how she’ll casually tell a story about getting kidnapped or watching a bunch of people get eaten by a bear
@@missa657 Who is that? Why do they have such a ridiculous name? Why not naming yourself something more professional and serious, like "Titus Andromedon"?

They were way ahead of everything. Weinstein jokes a decade before "me too", calling out NBC on their yearly "go green" initiatives, the oversaturation of reality shows, and attempts at turning almost anything into a political debate.
My ultimate favourite moment is when the rest decides to get her help to ruin Kaylie Hooper and it cuts to jenna saying on the phone "LET'S DESTROY HER" and the viewer thinks she's talked about Kaylie only when she notices the guys and goes "Hey Guys, what's up"? :D She was already randomly planning on destroying someone else when they visited her to go after Kaylie... jenna is one of the best characters on the show! i keep wondering when she is gonna lead an rescue party because there's "trouble at the old mill lassie!"
I sat front & center with her a couple years ago for Björk’s Cornucopia residency at The Shed. She was very nice & was with some old artsy guy who kept farting…. I haven’t been back to NY since 🙃
30 Rock had the best writing of any sitcom and Jane Krakowski is an absolute gem.
PREACH!
They made completely original jokes and the actors were amazing 🤌 One of the best comedy shows I’ve seen.
this show and first 3 seasons of arrested development
I just started watching a month ago and it's by far the funniest show i've ever seen. Writing, casting, and acting were unreal!
@@justaguy328 right!!! It’s just such a breath of fresh air with how funny it is and smart

Tina fey needs to create another chaotic show. Unbreakable kimmy schmit and 30 rock are outstanding

It’s still a travesty she never won an emmy for this role.
Yes.
Looking back, its actually pretty shocking
I mean.
I suppose it's too late now...?
Since we’re so into re-hashes we could do a Jennas In the city or something
I rooted for her to win throughout all her nominations she really is an underrated actress
"daddy, why are you doing this." always get me, funny, dark, sad, at the same time.
I thought she called him "Jack D."
It's my favorite Airplane bit, where they read out the symptoms while the guy in the background acts them all out, with a delightful little twist.
the reason why she never got her well-deserved Emmy for this role was because Mickey Rourke sabotaged her.
“How dare you, you rotting pear” will always always always make me laugh
