Britta ruins strangers lives and then just walks away when the mess is to big.

It's part of her personality, like how a child tries to get their way when talking with an adult. That depicts Annie's child-like behaviour. During Season 3/4 when they started to just view the Greendale 7 as a bunch of selfish narcissists as opposed to just a quirky group of students really opened up the dynamic of show I think. Really puts sitcom antics into perspective.

Annie is legitimately terrifying. My guess is her trauma from high school impacted her capacity for legitimate human connection. Her early drug problems have given her a drive to get literally whatever she wants under any circumstance to prove she is just as good without the adderall as she was with it. People didn't see her in high school so she struggles to see people as an adult beyond what they can do for her.

Idk why people are acting as though Annie's manipulative behaviour is a surprise.
She's been like this since episode one. It's part of her personality, like how a child tries to get their way when talking with an adult. That depicts Annie's child-like behaviour.
And it's not like everybody gets fooled by her, they get it in a minute or within the episode. It's like a running gag.
Everybody on Community have their own annoying and borderline toxic traits. This is hers, and we her inspite of it.

tbh i like the study group alot more when they're open about being terrible people. like shirley in the foosball episode or the one in season 5 about selling textbooks, I liked her much more when her cruelty was on full display, not under a veil of Christian innocence. the study group can be terrible people, and its much more entertaining when they are.

During Season 3/4 when they started to just view the Greendale 7 as a bunch of selfish narcissists as opposed to just a quirky group of students really opened up the dynamic of show I think.
Really puts sitcom antics into perspective.

I also like it when it is hidden but they're called out for it (e.g the ep where Shirley was being passive agressive and guilt tripping everyone like she often does but Jeff was fully aware of it and said what she was doing).

Annie is legitimately terrifying. My guess is her trauma from high school impacted her capacity for legitimate human connection. Her early drug problems have given her a drive to get literally whatever she wants under any circumstance to prove she is just as good without the adderall as she was with it. People didn't see her in high school so she struggles to see people as an adult beyond what they can do for her.
It’s a sitcom and none of it is that deep.
