Recreating CLASSIC 50's Makeup & Hair Tutorial | Vintage Beauty

Hey, it's Jackie and I'm back recreating CLASSIC 50's Makeup & Hair Tutorial plus Modern Selfie Tips! I followed a vintage makeup tutorial by taking a look at past REVLON ads for inspo - Ya'll know I love vintage / retro beauty tutorials with makeup and vintage hair inspiration! For this tutorial I've teamed up with REVLON to show you my my take on a classic, 1940's/1950's PIN UP Makeup & Hair look. GRWM & see my winged liner and perfect bold red lip which is historically accurate looking back on Revlon's gorgeous vintage ads! I find I photograph best with a simple, feminine glam look so it's perfect for prom if you are looking for an old hollywood glam, or 50's prom makeup or anytime you want to take some cute selfies!
I always go for makeup that photographs well, so I'm obsessed with Revlon's PhotoReady line of products as one of my secrets to flawless photos. I'll also share tips on how I like to take a selfie as well how-to take instagram photos!

To complete my look today I'm wearing this bright printed dress from Modcloth.com and created a faux bob - I just curl my hair outwards, and pin half my length upwards making sure to hide the bobbypins. I've done several bob tutorials, and this one I kept more messy and pouty at the bottom.
