Excellent description, thanks so much for sharing. I feel more confident about taking my pump apart now to helicoil a stripped thread! I'll source new seals etc first. What a wonderfully designed pump!
If you adjust the pump reference line below (before) the opposite reference mark, does the oil flow start increasing again or is it even less.. The objective of the question is to figure out how to recoil consumption as our new oil are much better.
Makes sense, good video. I have a 72 H1b, and I also had a stripped banjo bolt hole. I disassembled, machined, installed "Power Coils" (I like them better than Heli-Coils), and have all parts clean and organized in a plastic divided container. However, I am a little uncertain on proper re-assembly. I should also be looking at my check valves. I really need to talk to someone knowledgeable like you. If you are willing, my email is travis@csbco.com Thanks so much

I know this is an older video but can anyone know who sells the seals and o-rings to rebuild?
Nice explanation. But how do You replace the seal on the throttle shaft? that's the part that goes old and starts leaking.
Very useful...thx 👍
Cool video -- big help!
Hi great video Can you tell me where to get the umbrella seal for the throttle shaft Tanks
