I followed the guide thoroughly but for some reason it still won’t work. I wonder if maybe there’s a setting somewhere I have on that’s preventing me from using it but I have no clue 😢
I noticed that you can clip through the ground when you have the space drag on, but when I have it on, my avatar doesn’t pass through the ground, only my pov does. Is there a setting to enable to clip through the ground?
With fullbody, you should be able to pass through this ground. If that doesn't work the only thing I can suggest you try to do is go to VRChat Launchpad > Settings icon > Tracking and IK > Disable "Locomotion animation"
Hello! If anyone can help me I’d appreciate it as I can’t find ANYTHING online 😭 when going to bind the buttons, there is no space drag option on the list. Yes, I have it check marked as seen in the video. I have overlay and add-ons turned on in the steamVR startup/shutdown section. I cannot for the life of me find a fix or anybody else who has ran into this problem. 😢
If you do have OVR advanced settings installed, make sure you're on the "Motion" tab at the top within the binding menu, there are a few tabs, and those options will not show up unless you're on this tab.
You either need full body tracking, or an avatar with gogoloco where you can freeze the avatar animations. Otherwise it will always animate and sit down
I saw videos of people that can pass through the floor and people that can lay down on the floor using space drag, is there a way to switch back and forth while using fbt?
as far as I know it all depends on whether fullbody or locomotion animations are enabled in the launchpad settings. When fullbody is off your avatar will act as if you're crouching, while with fullbody / disabled animations, it'll just pass through
is there a way for me to be able to walk through walls in full body? ive seen other fbt users do it but i never knew if it was a setting in ovr or something else

But my hard drive was destroyed and then I got another one and it was a mess and I still haven't downloaded everything lol. Anyway I am on vacation and I was looking through my subscriptions and saw that you got some good numbers now! Congratulations dude I hope the best for you. If you have a quest some avatars have "gogo loco" which is basically space drag but within the avatar

What if your ovr settings doesn't show up while on your headset? I did start it manually too.
Go to SteamVR settings, startup shutdown, and make sure it's enabled under overlay and addons, then restart steamvr. If that doesn't work I'm not sure

You need some kind of fullbody for that to happen, otherwise your legs just follow a default crouch animation instead of making you go through

How does this work with VRChat now? Things have changed and there's no longer a space drag option.
Works the same as it used to, except that OVR Space drag now costs money if you didn't already have it

This specific solution is SteamVR only, I'm not familiar with this on oculus

i binded space drag to my joysticks ( press in ) and i had both controllers space drag feature toggled yet i still couldnt move.. any tips?

I have it to my X and A but I press them and hold them down it doesn’t do anything
make sure you have the right spacedrag related option selected, there's a few very similarly named ones. Compare with the vid
8 euros for a playspace drag? o just bought the toolkit for 12, why dont they include it in that?
Because it's two different programs. OVR just stands for "Open VR", one is advanced settings, and another is a toolkit

It should work on the Quest 3 as well, you may just have to bind a different button since the controllers are different
