Anytime I use OVR to get close or under the ground (I have FBT, so I can just phase through it), VRChat makes me go slower the farther underground I go. I know for a fact this is because VRChat thinks I’m crouch walking or crawling, but I hope there’s a way to fix it so that it doesn’t happen. I hate being slower than a snail when I’m under the map trying to sneak up on my friends.
Update: vrchat’s recent update fixed this. For some reason it was still recognizing steamvr bindings as the default ones, now it seems to be working after giving it another go.

i downloaded ovr adcanced settings from web browser in 2019 and modded it into my stuff and it has worked fine ever since, why are people getting other programs and have it break or something as you say? mine was never buggy and didn't break so i don't get what you're on about. within the last month however i swapped my failing SSD with my OS on it and had to redo everything so instead this time i got lazy and just used the version you download from steam

I can’t open OVR Advanced settings I downloaded it in steam while I join it it doesn’t open the settings of controllers just they send me in Plain World
After I did this I can no longer do Avatar Gestures like if u were on Pc you would press F1 to F8 for those Gestures but I can't seem to do it on my controllers. How do I get it back and customize it?

If you go into OVR, hit “Bindings”, and from there you can save your current bindings as a private profile, then back out of that, and from there you can create a new profile where you have no bindings set.
No. This is a normal steamvr addon. It doesn't affect the game in any way. Pretty much everyone who uses Full Body Tracking, along with the devs use it themselves. It's not the same as a modified client or something which is actually affecting the game client in some way
I'm not sure. What I do is in the advanced settings window, under motion tab, I just uncheck the hand drag boxes when playing games where I don't want it to do that

why wont bindings open in ovr?
Am I doing something wrong? Every time I set my bindings up nothing happens. I can’t control anything other than the default bindings in vrchat.

You need to launch the game through steam so it playes through steamvr rather than launching from oculus

Go back to the tab that says movement and uncheck space drag for right and left hand

Unfortunately it only works on the steam version, because it’s an app that runs on steam from the steam store.

No. Vrchat bindings are separate from playspace mover bindings
this flat out doesnt work, you install it and it doesnt open. you then launch it manually and it has no effect on your avatar.
