I've followed all the steps and it worked, but why does it automatically reset my play space after I let go of the B-button on my right controller when I didn't even press the left joystick??

Yup, it works very well and natural with fbt, I basically use it all the time, especially when using small avatars. You grab the playspace, move it and done ✔️
Late af, but if you have FBT your entire avatar can phase through walls etc but if you’re half body (just headset) only your head can, not body/legs. Like you can still pull yourself through the wall to see around but your avatar will crumple down to the floor or against the wall until you reset offsets etc. 😊

I have 1660 without "TI" and everything works fine, You should get ez 6 90 fps in "hub" when You're alone, so inthis situation I think that there may be something wrong with configuration. Try to mess with settings, check Your CPU/GPU/RAM usage and maybe try to reset everything to default
Anytime I use OVR to get close or under the ground (I have FBT, so I can just phase through it), VRChat makes me go slower the farther underground I go. I know for a fact this is because VRChat thinks I’m crouch walking or crawling, but I hope there’s a way to fix it so that it doesn’t happen. I hate being slower than a snail when I’m under the map trying to sneak up on my friends.
You can't fix it, it's related to the position of Your avatar, You can go up without slowing down, but if You go down it'll always be slow, because that's how it detect crouching.
You can have it on quest, but You have to play connected to Your PC with cable or WiFi. You can also find avatars with built-in stationary option that works standalone on Quest.
I've seen ppl use smth in vrchat I think theyre using the ovr one, but they can go under the ground...I've been trying to find out how to do it but I cant find anything. You know anything about it??
You can use ovr advanced settings to go under the ground, You can even change gravity settings there. Some avatars have those functions built-in, that's why for example quest users can do that too

Make sure that You're doing everything same as on the video, uninstall OVR Advanced Settings and install it again, step by step as on the video, don't skip any part
Imo You did something wrong. Remove OVR Advanced Setting and install everything same as om the video, if OVR Advanced Settings icon won't appear in Steam VR, open Your library (in VR) and start it from there. Ofc don't forget about configuration I mentioned in the video ;)

You can check in steamvr setting, maybe its blocked somehow, You can also install streamvr and ovr advanced settings again, works for everyone, so probably there's some issue in Your side

it does not work for me in steamVR on quest 3. and ever since I downloaded it, my performance in VRChat has become crap. Loading into words gets stuck at 17% for an hour, my own avi doesn't load, it's unplayable.
I don't think so, the app has only minimal impact on performance, so Your "getting stuck at 17%", not loading avatar and game being unplayable has nothing to do with it. The app is not affecting VRChat directly, it's SteamVR addon, so it can't even have slight impact You're talking about. Good luck troubleshooting, but You need to look somewhere else ^^

@xxdragonboyxx346 @RichardVirgosky I think I know your issue as I just went through the same thing, you are both most likely correct in what you are saying as well. When I first installed OVR while following the steps in this video, the icon when in SteamVR didn't originally show up. It might be a new step involved since this was posted a year ago; however, I cannot be certain as I just did it myself for the first time today. Anyways, once you have OVR installed and you are in SteamVR you need to then go into your library tab and goto your "installed" tab, once there click the OVR Advanced Settings app and click run on the play button. This fixed what I am sure your issue is as well, for me. Hope that helps!

it's not always working with double Y-B, I had to change the first Y-B button to Drag to get it working

Not exactly the same, but there're some avatars with gogo loco/playspace mover with does something similar
So this can’t be done with airlink? Does it have to be plugged into your pc for this to work?
You need SteamVR for that, so You need to be connected to Your PC with cable or WiFi(using airlink, steam link or virtual desktop)

So I got it all set up but when it moves up or down it's not smooth like that

Yup, it works very well and natural with fbt, I basically use it all the time, especially when using small avatars. You grab the playspace, move it and done ✔️

What's Your GPU? You should have almost the same performance on SteamVR VRChat as on Oculus version

I don't find this reset offset option on oculus rift S, why's that? like when I click into Joystick, there is no "reset offset"
Make sure that You're looking in same place as in the video. It doesn't matter what controllers You have, options are the same on all controllers.

You need to bind everything correctly, each action to the button, some actions can be for quick press and others for hold

So You did something wrong... thousands of people did it and it works, remove OVR advanced settings and install everything again step by step
