i spent about 13yrs in tasmania and there is a place near granville harbour where you can wade waste deep around rocks and gather crayfish all day long and they are large bull cray lots of meat and on south east coast at Eagle hawk neck great tuna mako and stripe trumpeter fishing

You did the tail the hard way. All you had to do was break off the fins at the bottom then insert a fork and push. The meat comes right out the big end like a ice cream push up.
