Bought this machine a few months ago after having TL Kenmore Elite for over 10 years. Did exactly what needed to be done (level, spin, calibrate...) and the machine is absolutely awesome. Not sure how some can be so negative, maybe it's the competition writing fake news! Washer and dryer work great and look awesome!
Hey, hope you could answer a question for me. During the wash cycle, does yours spin the whole time as its washing? Or does it sort of just shift/twitch left to right during most part of the wash? Thanks!
I have the one that's one step above your's. At first I didn't like it cause it didn't seem like it was... well... washing. But my clothes come out clean. These machines work quite well. I came from a 2003-4 Kenmore Elite III front loader that I bought new, it still works with zero problems. Hope this Samsung does just as well.
My mother had it installed by Home Depot. They MIGHT have leveled it, but that's about it. My mother is one to never read manuals therefore just plugged it in and started washing. Hope nothing bad happens from her not calibrating it.
Seems like it works well with 1/4 of laundry basket with clothes, which would work great for a single person. A family of four , the laundry baskets are overflowing with clothes from active kids. I would think some of the clothes would not wash properly.
it is a very good washer better than LG, GE,and many other brands . really quiet, and the clothes came out like... nothing better. this is a good one thanks samsung

Mine leaves white residue type of stuff on the clothes after washing is complete. Is it because of the type of detergent I was using? It doesn’t have a filter or water draining tube like other Samsung washers
most of complaints are theres not enough water but i see it does have plenty of water in this vid,,thx for posting bud, my calibrating was to hold temp, delay end for 3secs,release then cb appeared on display then i press start now i can use..
Just purchased, and had this same machine installed yesterday. After ONE load, it’s already giving me fault codes, and won’t drain. Run as far away as you can from these machines. I should have know better. I’m convinced the positive reviews that Samsung appliances receive are all fictitious. Never again.
We have the same washer and I used it for the first time today. First load, didn't seem to use much water and it didn't suds up. I kept watching and the cloths didn't seem to be getting agitated, just spinning. I dont think I like this washer, I dont think my cloths are clean.
My parents bought the same washer and I told them the exact thing. . This washer isn't washing, just spinning slowly left then right.. hardly any efficient wash or agitation going on. I washed a load and the clothes weren't clean at all.. they called a tech to check on the washer to see if there's anything wrong with it and they said it was fine. I told them to change them (washer dryer combo) for something that actually agitates and washes, but they don't want to go through the trouble. Oh well. I don't know what the engineering department was thinking when they designed this washer
How is it that people are satisfied with these new washers that barely move the clothes? Have any of you actually used the older models and seen what they did?
I just purchased this model. I have seen a bunch of negative reviews but I hope it’s from improper setup. Have you had any leaks or things of that nature since the purchase?
I replaced a similar set with this set. Except my old set before the samsung was a lower-tier model. This set was terrible! Dryer broke twice in 6 years, and washer was recalled, and mine rusted out! Never again!
I did everthing you said. Did CB, did bedding. it fills half way and looks to me that its not covering the load with water. Also should it suds up. I see no suds.
Hi I got this same machine and the tub seems to favor the right side like yours did initially. How did you get it back to center? Did you only adjust the front two feet or did you have to make adjustments to the rear legs as well?
+uclaman18 Rear legs are not adjustable. I dug out the level, and leveled it front to back using the front legs, then i had to cut a block of wood to put under the right rear leg to get that level.
+Reviews and How-to As an Italian cement leveller I can see that the lid slopes towards the front. As I saw in the video you checked the level on top of the lid. Look at the side view of the machine, and the lid slopes towards the front, very noticeably. I used the side panels at the joint line as my reference point. No adjustments required. Have done approximately 15 washes my opinion VERY noisy, grinding, grating sound 80dB on the water eject (both wash and rinse). Service person changed the pump , No change. Water sloshing is not very noisy. Did you get the dryer set up as well? I am asking because we just purchased and set up these machines and I am having trouble finding video of the dryer running. Ours makes this thump thump noise and I'm not sure if that is normal?
Could be defective. Could be you didn't turn the cold valve on. Could be there isn't enough cold pressure to activate the valve in the washer. Could be you have your hoses backwards.
This shouldve been fully leveled and calibration mode done prior to test washing. Also side not pods dont dispense right in front loaders due to lack of enough water. I have a samsung washer similar to this and never had issues using the pods. Also mines doesnt have balancing issues and its sitting atop a rubber mat in a wooden floor and i live in a 3rd floor apt.
+Reviews and How-to maybe the literature for your model was different from mines, but mines i remember it be explicitly clear to do calibration prior to use. Then it went down to say test cycles etc.
