I think you've confused this channel with Sony Pictures Television (that shows Shark Tank eps). I've done that before too but I unsub's to Sony 'cos of the rest of the crap video's they post which I wasn't interested in. This is the first time Calm Strips is shown on this channel.
I really like how you suggested episodes for them to post though 'cos it's the first I've heard of those before.
Both channels are run by Sony. One is just dedicated to Shark Tank videos. Double the channels means double the ad revenue.

He has to pay himself if this is a full time undertaking for him, pay salaries to any employees he may have, storage space, shipping (he said he doesn’t charge customers shipping), pre-orders for inventory. All that takes money. What I understood his statement to mean was that he’s not looking to make a huge personal profit/gain, and that he created this product out of his belief in the good the product can do.

Love this episode, one note though, the audio seems to vary for different videos (this one was very low). Hoping to fix that slight issue. Love you guys! ❤

The volume has been super low the last two or three videos you almost can't hear what the people are saying it's like you turn it down because the beginning super loud but that's the whole point of the beginning.

It has the potential to be a genuinely useful product for *some* people, but it's still 90% fad driven, Robert might make some money here, but the company won't make it past 5 years.
I don't even believe that the deal went through in the end. The Calm Strips website looks like it hasn't been updated in 10 years even though this episode aired in late 2021. They're also selling 5 strips for $9.99, so they're barely making any money on them. This couple made all of their money because of the fidget spinner trend. Nobody is purchasing fidget spinner products any more, so their sales have likely dried up too. I'm surprised the sharks didn't recognize this.
Of all companies that appeared on this show, aside from the obvious scams, this one deserved a deal the least.

Only in a country like USA do these things work. These things might help for a short time, but eventually you would want to learn to redirect that energy. Most successful people I know were born with excess energy; they went from fidgeting to getting work done.
