I never like when she and Mark try to stop entrepreneurs from entertaining other offers during their once in a lifetime opportunity to be in front of them.
@@diamond852this is a very common sales strategy. FOMO is very powerful. Entrepreneurs do this every day with limited time offers and things like this. She pretty much made him say yes.
Nobody even mention, but Mark’s business is much more interesting. Diamonds! Sounds much better than a rock.

A rock is humble, a diamond is unrealistic
You wouldn't want to scatter diamond away. Hence, there will be too many dead people on your pocket. While in rock, you can scatter them away anytime just like ashes
@@Gojiwa I feel like when you choose to turn your passed love one to diamond, you probably don't intend to scatter them. It's to make them eternal and keep them, like some people keeping an urn.
Apparently Justin listened to the Sharks by upping prices by over 2x. On this episode he said $995 for a human, but it’s now $2,500 on their website (and pets went from $500 to $1,000).
Was a smart move. Coffins aren't cheap and urns look tragic and heaven forbid someone knocks it over and you have to vacuum up gramps! $2,500 is not a lot when you consider the costs and issues with other options.

Not at all. Easy fix to be profitable just like they all raise prices. Double the price and that 800k loss with 1.5 mil sales turns into a 700k net profit with 3.5 mil sales. And if you look on their website they did just that. Not costs 2500$ for humans.
That was smart for Lori to say that she is almost gonna go out😂. That was the defining moment that made them take her offer

I have my parents' ashes in my home. I'm so grateful to find this service. I tried to take a tiny bit of their ashes to Maui but the airlines said I had to put it in a baggie, not the miniature urn I wanted to use, to send it through the scanner at the airport. I couldn't put it in my checked bag. What a hassle and a mess to open the urns and transfer some of the ashes. A plastic bag for their ashes seems such a humiliating end to a person's life. Stones are somehow a more comforting and loving tribute. 😢

This episode seems nice at first but gets weird real fast once they get into the business side of cost per dead person
This guy has a genius idea and bringing in 55 investors is absolutely crazy. I guarantee one thing is that all those 55 investors have morenof a share of his company than he does and what's gonna happen is I think he showed up on shark tank in a desperation move and why I say that is because.......after losing over 1 million dollars he will have to sell-off more of his company to make up the difference and that's were he is screwed.

I was surprised at first thinking he would make a mock up, but actually, I think it's kind of nice that he brought his gramp's stones. I think it's an important part of the whole idea - you can't really interact with a bunch of ashes, but once they are stones, they can be really held. If people believe that he's more likely to be there in spirit because his stones are there. then it can be a positive thing that they are his stones. I wouldn't get white though - might be too easily stained.
With the mortician...I mean Mr Wonderful and Lori on board...He and Gramps should do great!

Cool idea but not once have I ever heard of people having problems having an urn or taking the ashes and spreading them.
I dont think its something people would like to openly talk about.
@@Truthorfib I don't know, I sell hardwoods and people come to buy wood for making urns quite often. Seems to be something people have done quite a bit. Also, many people who do get cremated ask to have their ashes spread over certain places.
I think it's like a 50/50 thing where people who want to be cremated either want to be in an urn on a mantlepiece or dumped out somewhere. My elderly father has asked me, when his time comes, his ashes to be spread in his favorite lake. Maybe I'll pitch this idea to him, so he can be in that same lake, but in the form of skipping stones where my brother and I can see who skips the ash stones the furthest (he loves dark humor).
@@katlis sometimes I think of if I can be ashes on soil where a tree will be planted. Maybe I’d be gone but I guess in some way I’m still alive. If I had money though I kind of want to be frozen, maybe one day I’d wake up again and have a bunch of debt when I wake up cause of all the medical stuff they used to make me live again 😂

Like this guy is coming up to them with a pitch for a company that's actually helping comfort people in the process of grieving and all these people are more concerned with how they can benefit off the trauma and sorrow than actually alleviating it.
