Love the trains..went from Indianapolis to Las Vegas and back several years ago also from Bakersfield, Ca to Tacoma and back on Amtrak. Loved every minute of it. Get to see so much beautiful scenery on a train.
NYP-Philly is 60 in the tunnels, 90 when you get out to portal bridge, 60 over portal, 90 all the way to Harrison, 45/30 to Newark Penn, 90 or 110 all the way to elizabeth where it goes to like 50, then 125 at the 4 to 6 track interlocking all the way to metropark where it goes 90 and 110 metuchen to the yard thingy under I-287, 125 to new brunswick which i believe is 90, and 125 all the way down to Trenton (I think, i got out of NEC buffing a long time ago) @@nolantherailfan5048
@@ryanbytracks4476 Thanks for that GOOD news! I run Amfleet I and Amfleet II on my HO pike to keep them alive. I'd LOVE to have a real Amfleet car in my backyard to set up as my office.
It's a train made in France so it has the classic TGV horns. Almost every train in Europe has one because they are easier to hear at Higher Speeds. They sound good at 200mph doing a High Looooow high pattern. Check it out
@@MrRailfanner206 for me it depends on the train. Highspeed fits the 2 tone in my opinion because most in the world have it. Nathan horn for other trains like the empire service and other intercity Services

I had a good look thanks. In order for Acela to run faster than it is now, the Northeast Main Line needs to be speeded up, but the answer is to build a dedicated high-speed train line between Washington DC-New York-Providence. If you have to make it underground inevitably along the existing route along the beach, you have to boldly make it an underground route. In addition, the routes are extended to Ottawa-Scranton-Maryland-Washington D.C., Providence-Portland-Bangor-Holton, and Washington D.C-Richmond-Goldsboro-Wilton. . Washington D.C-Charlotte-Atlanta-New Orleans-Galveston-Corpus Christi-Mexico City-Acapulco I hope that the high-speed rail will be built to make Washington D.C-Mexico City faster and closer. For the success of the high-speed rail construction in the USA!

Amazing!
Great video! The NEC is such a unique line here in the USA and it’s always cool to see action out there.
I am REALLY going to miss the Amfleet 1 & 11 passenger cars when they are removed from service. They are the best-looking cars ever, the world over.
I have good news for you then! It's only the amfleet I being retired for now the 2s will remain in service as of the writing of this comment
