    Not bad. Are the game boys and games yours when you were young or did you buy them? I like the video it was fun watching.

      Pokémon emerald and the black Sp are my original game and system from when I was a kid as well as one of the gameboy to GameCube link cable. The silver sp, fire red and sapphire I bough a few years ago for 20 bucks. And the pink gameboy I specifically bought for this video cause on my last video I used the 2 Sps and a GameCube running a gameboy player but since I no longer have the GameCube I had to get a new gameboy for this. And glad you enjoyed it!! I’m planning on making another one with only shiny Pokémon so stay tuned

      @@ggaboveaveragegamer you bought that for $20 bucks now that's amazing lol. Especially with these prices right now.

      @@ggaboveaveragegamer yeah I did enjoy it. It takes me back watching these type of battles. And okay sounds good I'll be here whenever it comes out. 👍

      Yea it was 20 but when I say a few years ago I meant like in 2014 when everything was going super cheap, I even bought Pokémon colosseum with the bonus disc together for 15 dollars that same year and now they are worth like 100 each, I miss it lol

    any idea how easy or hard it would to do this on an emulator? I've seen videos of people trading on an emulator but never a battle

      No idea since I’ve always used actual hardware but I would imagine it would be hard to do since you would have to be running 4 separate gameboy emulators plus a GameCube emulator and connect them somehow.

      Dolphin has an amazing Netplay feature that now supports native GBA linking. With the proper knowledge and understanding of the setup, you can arrange battles to your liking. I've done 1v1 battles, but have never partook in a proper multi battle, hardware or emu.@@ggaboveaveragegamer

      its certainly FAR easier than it used to be back then! Dolphin (the gamecube emulator) got an update a while back that added an integrated GBA emulator that works and connects to dolphin far better than VBA used to, with the bonus of being less demanding on the PC's resources.
      Also, apparently this works over netplay too, meaning you could totally do XD/Colo battles online. Not sure how hard that would be to set up though.

    There isn't a 4 controller option?

    This is great and all but it'd be even better if your Pokemon had competitively viable movesets

      @ggaboveaveragegamer  ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Funny you should say that I’m actually working on that! But to make 24 competitive pokemon in Gen 3 can take a long time unlike now where I can make a perfect Pokémon in literally 3 min lol

      @@ggaboveaveragegamerNgl I actually like the use of story mode mons in battles like these. Makes it more sincere and genuine. Youd be hard pressed to meet a kid back in the gap that legitimately grinded up flawless mons.
