The flex is super nice! The stiff in the other hand is making swiss cheese out of my wrists. The moment I pull it around my wrists, it starts rasping my skin due to its hard material and stiffness.
They can definitely be hard on the skin, especially until they soften up a little bit!
Certainly! Here's the corrected version of your text:
The flexible ones cut off your blood circulation, and in higher reps, they degrade your grip. While you can even keep the stiff ones between sets, you also have considerably better support on your wrists. The trick is to keep your hand and wrist at the angle you need and then wrap the band. This way, you won't have to fight with your band once you're in position.
I'm glad you found the ones that work well for you.
I bought the stiff ones and thought I messed up at first because they are very stiff. But after a couple weeks they loosen up a little. I love them, but I’ll probably try the soft ones later
The stiff ones are definitely quite stiff and take some getting used to, but provide incredible support.
Hello, Im new to wrist wraps. Ive noticed when benching, one of my hands has started bending backwards when lifting heavier so am looking into getting wrist wraps to help. Im not competing so its just to help prevent injuries and keep correct form. Which type would be best for me? I was of the opinion it had to be stiff wraps to support the wrist and flexible are used more for compression? The flexible ones definitely sound more comfortable but will they support my wrists? Also, what size would I need? I have 7.5 inch wrists
Many thanks
I would recommend the flexible ones, they will still provide a lot of support for your wrists. Most people prefer the medium length as the small is really quite small.
I like the width 💪🏻😉
👍
Would you recommend the flexible or stiff wrist wraps for squatting? Also do the flexible and stiff wraps get looser overtime or stay how they come?
I recommend the flexible to anyone who isn't sure they want a very stiff wrist wrap. I have used the same pair for years without any noticeable decline in performance.
Stiff are allowed in raw competitions right?
Yes for sure.
yuh
Thanks
Get flexible way better
Some customers really enjoy the stiff ones, but in general most people love the flexible
I have both of them...i use flexibile for squat, overhead press and every other movement like bicep curl...i use stiff only for competition bench press
i prefer stiff ones though....
@@ChildrenOfFable why would you need wrist wraps for bicep curl?😂
@@bluhkraken2920 if you curl heavyweights dumbbell you kinda need it for sure 😅
Somebody should tell her she actually put those on the wrong hands.
According to SBD Apparel, the thumbloop should come across your hand to make it easier to take off your thumb, as she explains around 1:50
