A7 Rigor Mortis Knee Sleeves - Better Than Inzer and Iron Rebel?

  • To follow up on my last video, I recently received the newest knee sleeves from A7. These are made from the same stiff neoprene as the Inzer Ergo Pros and Iron Rebel PRs. How do they stand up?

    Damn the knee sleeve game is changing! I wonder how SBDs version of these will hold up.
    But most importantly how did they come in so much lower than both IR, Inzer and even this other brand? It has me a bit skeptical

    • @BasementBrandon
      @BasementBrandon  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I think part of it is without much competition, someone can charge whatever they want. They also don't want to cannibalize their current offerings. Meaning why would someone pick their normal sleeves if they were priced the same as the stiffer ones? I do think with more companies coming out with them they'll come down a little in price.

      @Pshpshpshpshpshpshpsh ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BasementBrandon that makes sense but 140 for knee sleeves seemed absurd even at the time I understand not wanting to price so low that it’ll take away from their current 80 dollar offering but 140 is high. I mean that’s 1.5 the price. Are they saying it is 1.5 times better? Perhaps… but 100 is highly competitive and I agree prices in this industry may reflect that closer now that it is becoming competitive. Interesting to see

      @@Pshpshpshpshpshpshpsh $140 for knee sleeves seemed absurd... to _you_. Judging by the the knees of people in my gym, clearly they've had no issues selling them. You (and I) may have found them too expensive but the market as a whole hasn't.

      @@TRXSTA38 it is objectively expensive compared to the knees sleeves out there now. But we also have to remember rehbands we’re 55 bucks per. It depends on what the inherit value is as well the majority who own these are all competitive powerlifters. And if you can get a fraction of an edge then this is worth it.

    One of the most interesting things ive found with all this new sleeve stuff is that despite the notable increased stiffness and potential increased performance (I have not looked back since switching to Inzers - though these are tempting) you still don't see the high level lifters using them. Potentially more as they proliferate and especially once SBD brings their own out but I just expected to see more people make the switch to get every last kg on the bar

      Stoics are your typical sleeve. They are coming out with a version with this material however.

    Cerberus makes very high quality products at an affordable price but they’re not approved for any federations outside of strongman 😢

      So here in the US they are approved for all federations, the lone exception being is if a local Powerlifting America meet is enforcing IPF approved list.

      I didn't have this happen on these but sleeves can do this if sized too small or used enough.
