3 of them I didn't know. I like what @rashaadsallie referred to about the panel snapping at 1:23. I hate scrolling the swatches and characters panels in the sidebar. So tedious for me! Even though it will make my workspace smaller, I'm going to try having the double sidebar with swatches and characters panels in the new sidebar. The reduced workspace will probably work and it'll be worth it to see all of the swatches and character controls. Is there any reason you wouldn't want to use an artboard? Why not always start with an artboard? I think you said that you do. I don't know why there's the ability to not start with one. Your use of them is outstanding. Thanks for your tips!
Thanks so much for the disable Alt rotating canvas. i had it turned off on version1 and had forgotten I could turn it off, Never have had not want to use if but REALLY annoying when I accidentally did/ Can't seem why undo wouldn't reset it but this is better,

@BrownBear - In Mistake number 2 you snapped the colour panel to the left of the existing panel. How did you do that because in no version of Affinity Designer can this be done. Please share how you accomplished this at 1.23
@@BrownBearProductions I'm sorry bro but this cannot be done in Affinity Designer 2 - Affinity only allow for one panel per side and floating panels. Unless there is another way its impossible. May people have asked AF to implement this like Adobe but they refused to do so. I am still not sure how only you accomplished this. Thanks for the reply.
I think this video was from Version 1 so unless they removed the ability in version 2 or it's only on the windows version (since I've not used the Mac version)

You just grab the panel and hover it over next to the current panel. Once it shows the blue outline let go and it should snap in place
