Did you know about the constraints panel before watching?
I didn't
Affinity Designer has so many gems! Making all my website mockups in it now! Thank you!
Didn't know about the constraints panel and WOW, it's a great tool!! Thanks for your video, you always make things very understandable!
Wow. I had no clue this tool existed and I've been making mockups in Affinity for over a year now. This will definitely save me time and mental energy. Thanks for the tip BrownBear!
Thank you so much !!
this is gold. Thank you so much
Brilliant tutorial, thank you!
Thank You!!! 🙏🙏🙏
Nice! Thanks for this tutorial. I am starting my switch to Designer for UI mock up work and this really tipped the scale. I am curious if they will add something like pages in Figma.. this is what is holding me back right now.
I'm not the most familiar with Figma but there's 2 potential things that may be helpful. One is artboards in affinity designer which may help some of your needs. The other is to have a look at affinity publisher as that may have some more parent/child related pages
Looking for Xd alternatives, i can only say: WOW.... 8) TY!
Figma?
@@Luschine I understand should be good, mate, but i didnt love it... TY for suggestion anyway, mate 8)
Does not work like described, TEXT not stretching because forgot a step config?
Thanks! But how is it shared with the client?
If you send them the Designer file
We are not in a battle against adobe …but if so, you might be kinda General
This is great but you didn't give us a tutorial on how exactly to make the artboard and rectangles...
Check out the video on artboards to learn how to use them properly - th-cam.com/video/yfU2UZ0X-_w/w-d-xo.html
Rectangles are simply made by clicking the rectangle shape tool, clicking and dragging to the desired shape
Pretty useless video of a guy using a design software with sunglasses on xD
