Not really. I liked Ant-Man, but it does have some glaring issues. 1) The opening 20ish minutes was slow/boring set-up material, and its pacing was broken and all over the place. It only focused up once Scott's crew began the heist on Hank's house. 2) The villain was just ok at best. Could of been interesting if they went all-out on the whole "Pym-particles were making him crazy" plotline, but was hardly delved into.
RetLocLive well not everyone will find those 20 minutes boring, som might have liked it. So that is more of opinion than a general issue with the film. Also agree with the second point. But that's most of the MCU villains not all.
Ant Man is my favorite Marvel movie so far, it was even better than aou. I got to see it on my birthday (bc it came out on my birthday). I'm really upset it isn't getting a lot of the recognition it deserves. I can't wait for hishe to tear it apart though.
