Great cast, great soundtrack, terrible timing; a movie about famous villains (kinda) redeeming themselves doesn't work as one of the first films in the universe.
I read a subreddit thread recently reminding me that one of the reasons why DC (and Fantastic Four) kept falling wasn't just executive meddling but because they didn't have their own independent studio yet like Marvel did. And now they do and I'm excited for the DCU.
@@Dachin55555 *Kind of* Fantastic four is a marvel property but the film license was owned by 21st Century Fox, which was only acquired by disney and thus reunited with marvel in 2019. So Marvel hasn't been involved in any of the fantastic four movies.
Gosh I still love the Sandman transformation scene SO much.. Even if it wasn’t the greatest movie, I grew up with it and I could watch that specific scene over and over and over again
yeah lol when I was like 8 I thought he ripped off his skin and I ran away screaming lmao but clearly I wasn't paying attention to his backstory and the fact there was no blood under the mask and came off so clean
Although not talked about here, I have to give Ultron from the What if? animated series a mention. Mans bisected thanos, absorbed the infinity stones and made a lance and new armor set out of nano tech. So cool! Also special shout out to my man Sorrento from Ready Player One for the Mechagodzilla scene. (Not really a transformation and more like a temporary power up) but still hella cool imo.
Great video idea. Done really well. Don't agree with the order of some (I mean all Redskull did was just pull off a mask!) Fair judgements on the characters. You were even fair with SheHulk. And all I've seen is exaggerated rage when it comes to that show. Great vid once again. Very fun
10:55 It's likely that the hair is CG so it can disappear. The actor's real hair is probably tied up and out of the way. I love the visuals you do for the ranking: The cartoon sound effect when they hop into place and the big heads are hilarious.
I think Arthur fleck went into the fridge either as a way to end his life because of how messed up it was or to cut himself off from the outside world, sealing his mind off into his own fantasy
@@chobies5383 brother u lack dramaticness u should be more hyperactive unless u 60+ then I am sorry fr the rude behavior because of exm I havent slept for 2 nights brain aint braining anymore
Ngl i souldve taken into consideration wanda's possession scene in MoM. It was pretty nice and i think definitely warrant her at least a spot or 2 higher
That wasn't even Spot's best transformation When he steps into the particle accelerator he just turns into a distorted hole in reality, _that_ was his best transformation Utterly unsettling
We are definitely gonna need a part 2 for this video for the ones u missed Example: Black Adam Pat (Raising Dion) Egg man (Sonic) The lizard (spiderman) And maybe even for the superheroes too
In The Joker, I believe he got inside the fridge because of his anxiety. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe some people with extreme anxiety or perhaps other mental disorders like to be in tight spaces because it calms them. It could be a mommy issue thing as well since I think that's right after he kills his mom. It could be a "back in the womb" type thing.
That Killmonger burning clothes transformation should replace with Whiplash from Iron Man 2 in Formula Circuit scene. Also talk about Mistique shape shift transformation,, T-1000 from Terminator also has good too. And the Old Venom had better detail than New Venom. New Venom look like Lazy work editor.
Ang Lee's Hulk is underappreciated. Better than Norton's in my opinion, and better than the current Hulk has become. And the movie itself took a lot of chances that I think paid off. Nick Nolte was a fuggin psychopath lmao. The end fight scene was weak compared to Norton's though. I remember playing the Ang Lee Hulk game too. As a kid, I don't think I ever got past that electric guy. Or at least that section right after. I remember not knowing wtf to do and giving up. Those dogs were so annoying as well. They were awesome in the movie though.
I believe Joker goes into the fridge to kill himself as that fridge can’t be opened from the inside. The rest of the movie is psychosis as the Joker is suffocating to death. I don’t know how much of this is true just a theory I’ve seen before.
Enchantress 40 second hand twist scene was better than the entire movie
It was like 2 seconds
@@ephraimbenyamen2428i think he meant to say 4 seconds
400 seconds*
Let's all keep saying seconds.

When you said Turbo, I thought you were gonna talk about the Snail
lmaoo same, I was confused for a sec
@@giu941 Tbf he does have a sick transformation scene lol
Same broo
Same 😅
So shocked 😲
Man the symbiotes taking over the person's body is one of the coolest things I've ever seen on screen
I can't believe he mentioned spots first transformation and not his second
Which was arguably his best one since the first one is more of a backstory
@@MustideerAnd, like his actual villain transformation. But I guess it couldn't hurt to mention.
Vader is iconic. Gotta admit
Noooooooooo I won't! 😂
Yo the way he wrote Doc ock😂
Doc Cock 😂👌🏻
3:43 I can't with him. 😂
3:50 😂
7:38 I'm sorry, I can't. 🤣
I think vader should’ve at least been over red skull all the transformations below red skull were worse than vader

With the exception of Batman flicks (and Christopher Reeve Superman films), DC movies are always disappointing (if not just plain bad).

I’m pretty sure Arthur Fleck goes into the fridge because he wants to just completely disconnect and shut himself away from the word and society
Or maybe he never actually went to the fridge. He was just imagining just like about the girl
DOC WHAT?!?!!
😂😂😂😂😂
Docock
I said what I said.
Why didn't Megatron save ironhide when he got slaughtered by sentinel prime
Man 💀
The way Hulk King makes such type of sounds while Transforming, it is just the same as my Vomiting sound.
Hela should be higher. That transformation scene was badass
Gosh I still love the Sandman transformation scene SO much.. Even if it wasn’t the greatest movie, I grew up with it and I could watch that specific scene over and over and over again

That black panther fight with those sound effects was absolutely hilarious!
Should've been its own video.
SO FROM DARTH VADER TO DOC OCK BOTH SHOW THEIR ICONIC NOOOOOOO
13:05 the good joker didnt age so well
great video, love how you put these together, every transformation you list are iconic and yea all of it deserves the ranking they got
Red skull's "skull" has skin. Very damaged skin, but still. What he threw in the fire was a mask.
yeah lol when I was like 8 I thought he ripped off his skin and I ran away screaming lmao but clearly I wasn't paying attention to his backstory and the fact there was no blood under the mask and came off so clean

I need a videogame version of this concept. Alex Mercer, Link (tp+mm), kirby, Ezio (kinda), etc.
The fridge scene was Arthur trying to k*ll himself. Fun fact: that wasn't in the original script, it was Joaquin Phoenix's idea
That Killmonger burning clothes transformation should replace with Whiplash from Iron Man 2 in Formula Circuit scene. Also talk about Mistique shape shift transformation,, T-1000 from Terminator also has good too.

Megatron is my favorite villain.
No, but like the Sandman transformation looking that good for the CGI at the time is absolutely stunning

I wouldn’t say it’s better than Norton but i love both tho i just prefer The Incredible Hulk
I adore the film. Much agreed.
Ain't no way you put vader in LAST PLACE.
His suit up I put last. As a villain? Top 5 I'd say.
Personally, I'd put Sandman at #1 and Enchantress a bit higher
Sandman definitely has a great one. Enchantress too. It was pretty difficult to decide.
I see Tighten in the thumbnail, I click
The subscribe reference animation is so cool!!!!!
Like #739, great videos man honestly enjoy them🤟🏾
Kamen Rider is the king of transformations. Just sucks that they don’t get the attention that they deserve.
Was there one in the video?
8:05 thanks for the laugh!
D-16 + EVIL = MEGATRON , MEGATRON + DEATH = GALVATRON
That thumbnail is fire
The rush hour reference love it
Killmonger should have been way higher. It was awesome
Doc Ock deserves top spot.
He sounds like the guy who says great electric spider when he says the villan names
The rubbery CGI fight 😂
Did anyone else think he was talking about turbo the snail or just me💀
Depressed that Monster X from Godzilla: Final Wars wasn’t here. That one’s number one in my book.
Make a video for hero transformations (like Hulk).
Where’s Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman from Batman Returns?
17:55 he looked more like a demogorgon
Should have mentioned poison ivy from the Gotham tv show 🔥
Every super strength, super durability, fourth wall breaks, freeze breath/ice powers, heat vision, and immortality based powers in all forms of media.
Carnage is one of those rare villains where I actually feel intimidated by him. He’s just very creepy to watch that it brings chills down my spine

Forgot about the Lizard from TASM 1
You missed every Dark Rider and transformable Kamen Rider villain. Which is a shame as there are so many cool transformation sequences.

poison ivy being so low is an interesting choice

I was hoping Tim Burton's catwoman would be somewhere on this list
