Chippewa and Gleneagles in Northeast OH give this list a run for their money.
Thanks for the feedback. We will look into it
Chippewa is definitely up there!
@Alex Williams love this track! Brings out the creative mindset with all the risk and reward shots
If you are putting the Virtues number 4 that lets me know that you have never played the Virtues because it is by far the best public golf course in the state. I've played stonelick and a couple of the others and hands down the Virtues every day. But expensive.
Good notes. Will use for your update video. cheers
I agree I play virtues quite often and I’ve also played Manakiki and Fowlers Mill every reviewer and website puts them higher then virtues but I say virtues hands down and it has the best club house by far
Manakiki and Sleepy are not even in the same class as Virtues
Little Mountain CC in Concord Ohio is a nice little gem too
Cheeers
love me some goff
I feel very fortunate as a life long Ohio Resident that I've been able to play 9 of these courses. Though I thought Firestone South was a private course? At least it was when I played it in high school. Anyway, love the stuff buddy. Keep it up.
Fantastic, thank you very much. Have a nice day. I actually played in Ohio last week and a small little course. Take a look at the channel if you’re interested in more thanks.
I’m surprised Mill Creek golf course didn’t make your top 10, but still impressive. Glad I live so close to your majority of the top 10.
noted
Hearing* woody ridge at #10 was a crazy throwback! I didn't know poeople knew about thay Shelby classic 😅
Opps
The fact that is in a top 10 tells you all you need to know about this video lol
Deer ridge and grey hawk
Noted
I have played the majority of the courses on the list. IMO The Virtues and Boulder Creek should be in the Top 5. Fowlers Mill is not what it once was. I’ve always rated Sleepy Hollow as the top Metropark Course in the Cleveland area.
Thanks for sharing!
Sawmill creek and thunderbirds out in sandusky are alot nicer than some of the metropark courses imo
Noted for our update video thank you
T bird and sawmill are hot garbage compared to manakiki and sleepy
Thunderbird is in great shape but the course design is awful
And Fazio took acid before sawmill was laid out
Telling us the town the courses are located near would be a big help. I know Firestone is in Akron, and the Cleveland parks courses are obvious, but the rest, not obvious.
Well do nest time! Cheers
Really surprised Elks Country Club in McDermott, OH didn’t make the list
Its notes now. Cheers for our update video
I would definitely checkout Northstar in Delaware that place is a gem they have held US Amateur qualifiers
Thank you and cheers
Google Maps shows Northstar to be in Sunbury, Behind Bent Tree. Is this correct? Ive played Bent Tree many times, but didnt know Northstar existed.
@@kiwiaudio8462 yes that is true! Northstar is one the most gorgeous public courses I’ve been to!
You need to add GoodPark to this list.
We will look into this on our update video for Ohio David
No Eaglesticks? It’s the only good thing in Zanesville 😂
Love zaneville, played there
@@parfessor Played Eagle sticks every year for the last 10 years. Course condition has been deteriorating for several years now.
How is Avalon Lakes not in the top five.
Whats your top 5
This footage isnt even the quarry lol
Noted!
Windmill has become average with its worsening conditions. And Fowlers Mill is getting unplayable
Thanks for the update
Woody ridge. Haha
Cheers u
So what exactly is GOWF again?
Google it🫡 my advice Jason is to give up on your dreams. Take that crap job and just attack random people online to feel better. But yea thanks for your watch time!
My dream is to make an impact on humanity pwaying goughf
Then you better get started. Becuase living is expensive, but the bill for regret is worst.
Criteria??
Hello?
Woody Ridge doesn't belong in the top 500 courses in Ohio. Have played it many times. For a while it was like a parking lot, it was so hard. I will say it has improved greatly over the last few years, but still shouldn't sniff a top 10 list of any kind. It isn't even top ten within an hour's circle of it. Again, not a terrible track and much better than it used to be, but not close to a top 10 of Ohio. Proves this list was compiled by some random Google maps experiment rather than actual play, or even surveying those who do play in the state.
Provide your top ten list Ed Gallo
The quarry has gone to trash
What’s your top 5
Windmill lakes is not good
Noted thanks
Sounds like you shot a 130 on it
Agreed
This list is VERY subjective.
Whats ur list Chris McClendon?
@parfessor I don't necessarily have a top 10 list. However, it seems that yours focuses on Northeast Ohio (8 out of 10 courses). I would suggest perusing through the Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, and Toledo areas. I have played Firestone and Longaberger, which is now known as The Virtues. To mention some others that I have played that would appear to rival many on this list: Eaglesticks, Golf Club of Dublin, Cook's Creek, Northstar Golf Resort, Cumberland Trail (owned by Jimmy Hanlin, who also owns Little Mountain C.C. and Stinewater), Red Hawk Run, Moss Creek, Windy Knoll, Beavercreek G.C., and Aston Oaks. I understand subjectivity, but a few from your list seem very lacking compared to any of these. Of course, without playing them, I would have to reserve complete judgement.
Thanks Keep a look out for an update video@@chrismcclendon5335
