20:32 They say Brandy you're a fine girl!
This was one of the first episodes my friends and I watched 15 years ago. Still remember all of us cracking up at the "water, lots of it!" part 😂
"Indiana Nerd and the Temple of Dork"
With a special appearance by Elmer J. Fudd.
Not this movie, but appreciate the FiresignTheatre plug
Trying to watch the farm short and eat my dinner at the same time is impossible!
@20:50 Great filmmaking, introducing the fact that he is a great shot and she is a judo expert, facts which NEVER COME UP while they are being hunted and must defend themselves.
"We dump this stuff in the creek and the government pays us for it!" lmao.
hahaha i mean, the sad thing is thats actually pretty true for so many decades
usually its companies though just dumping shit in rivers
not some mkultra government crap though haha
i mean we got rid of so many barrels of nuclear waste in the ocean
a few floated up once in the 50s and we just had a plane strafe it til it sunk
@@KaladinVegapunk That's more true than ever in this administration. The EPA is being hollowed out, environmental regulations are being rolled back, and the corporations are being rewarded with tax cuts.
Apparently the two people who replied before me don't understand the reference. It's not about dumping things in rivers with no consequences. It's about the fact that the government used to pay farmers to destroy--or simply not grow--certain amounts of certain crops in order to keep prices stable. Hence the "government pays us for it" part. But, sure, just assume that everything perfectly aligns with your world view.
Had a BF that worked for the EPA. He turned Roseacre Egg Farm in for throwing chicken guano into a creek. Subsequently, swarthy dudes in Lincolns were trailing him on I-65. The EPA hid him away for a couple years and told him from now on, keep his mouth shut.@@Nmethyltransferase
"May I present my wife."
"SURE!"
🤣🤣🤣
The first supervillain who hires henchmen who are able to *LOOK AROUND* instead of just looking straight ahead will actually conquer the world.
“Goodbye, will send that arm if we find it”. LOL
1:31:30 "fiddler -- Maria Bamford" LOL, I never noticed that credit before!
Holy shit! This was the first appearance of Pearl Forrister! She was always my favorite of the MADS!
really?
@@notinspectorgadget I think so. Unless she was in Season 1 or 2.
@@notinspectorgadget The Sci-Fi era Mads get a bad rap, in my opinion. There's no topping the chemistry between Dr. F and Frank, of course, but Pearl/Bobo/Brain Guy run circles around Dr. F/Larry or whatever they have going on in S11-13 (aka "The seasons I don't acknowledge")
Lol
"I have to be careful of my new jeans cuz I got them at Pamida" 😂
"There's one more thing I'd like to have you see before you go." "It's called Captain EO." I love a good, somewhat random and out of nowhere, Captain EO reference!
Captain EO is one of my only good childhood memories. I was really heartbroken when they ended it at Disneyland the first time.
i saw this movie at a slumber party when i was 12. scared the heck out of all of us. especially the acid scene. hard to sleep after that. LOL!
They missed a trick:
"♪Workin' at the cow wash...♪"
Nicholas Tosoni. Nice catch!! 🐮 LOL for real!
"Good one!", Nick.
*_Hogwash!!_*
Yes, it's the boat rocking scaring the fish and not the man firing the gun at all!
And Jane and Betty enjoy playing with the kittens - "They enjoy neutering them also" LOOOOOOOOOOL!
I laughed so hard at that I started crying
The geeky guy with the glasses (Gene Persson) was in "Earth Vs The Spider" (1958).
You're most welcome, I'm glad you enjoy them.
"I'm prescribing a series of commercials."
*groan*
At 42:41, after Kevin's toe jam joke you can hear a woman's laugh. It sounds a bit like Bridgette.
Good catch!
51:05 "he shot the bear mid standing ovation" LMAO!
39:03 is one of my favorite little moments from this film
The Dairy Farm is the main feature here :-D
This show is shining brilliance every episode
The farm clip was wonderful! I relived that from my youth. It really was a much better time.
“Whenever they were hungry in the afternoon.”
“Too bad.” -Tom
That got me good lol
Everything I know about dairy farms and chicken farms I learned from MST3K.
I have no idea what the square dancing sketch has to do with the film, but it is awesome. Anarchy!
It's a pretty pointless sketch, but it features Maria Bamford on the fiddle!
Girl can sure fiddle!
It looks like they decided to base their skits on the farming short that started the episode, rather than the movie.
"I'm tempted to call her something that rhymes with "BITCH"!
Lmao
Not often do you see Gypsy lose it.
How about the square dancing/moshing at 45:05 ? Best I've seen since birth.
and the time Crow copied her essay in The Wild World of Batwoman, and has to be reminded that he committed plagiarism, she was livid as heck
26:42 "It [the hole] was deliberately dug here!"
"But who could have done it?"
Am I the only one that had the team rocket theme play in their head after that line?
?
ramairgto72 Didn;t watch much of pokemon as a kid I assume?
MIGRATED - See Video
lol no, I was collecting Desert Storm cards..
ramairgto72 aalrighty, I'll pretend I care about American wars... ah, who am I kidding, no I won't, I'm Australian. XD
MIGRATED - See Video
And now I live in a world where I know Desert Storm cards are a real thing...shit
Man, Trace's Crow is a million times better than Bill Corbett's. So much more wholesome and absurdist at the same time. Corbett was just sarcastic and so many of his riffs were just total duds. It really was the beginning of the end when Trace left. Mike and Kevin carried it as long as they could.
Wrong
@@justinpino8115 Anyone who thinks the guy who came in and did the last 2 seasons is better than the guy who did it for 8 seasons is a newcomers and their opinion doesn't count.
There's no reality where the guy from NYC was going to have the same, blue collar midwest movie geek vibe that made the show so special.
Corbet brought that snarky, big city, Hollywood theater kid feel to the show that ruined all the newest seasons.
With regards to the dairy farming short, I guess this is what the Ryan Brothers from Saving Private Ryan were doing before the war.
6:19 It’s pretty rare that Gypsy says a bad word.
