Might not want all that sharp metal around my cat. They might get too comfy and scratch their eye! I do like the idea of a bamboo-rope teepee concept. That would look cute in the garden and would be a nice shady place for the cats to chill.

Yes can make your own with the tomato cage just cut the sharp parts off and put either glue with glue gun or even other stuff over any spots that are sharp or anything in anyway and it will be pretty much the same thing :) but way cheaper!
Better weight the bottom or the cat will knock it over
We have the Simply Clean Automatic Litter Box for our two kitties. It's very quiet & easy to empty. No special bags needed...we just use plastic baggies from the market to line the canister. Love it!!

It takes time, I once bought an igloo that was ignored for nearly two years, then suddenly both cats are sleeping it, then I made the mistake of washing it, so back on the ignore list.

Hide ugly cat furniture? His furniture is whatever he deems his (and frankly he’d rather have the box it came in, though he has laid claim to half my bed and an entire comforter for his exclusive use). If someone can’t handle that I have a cat or the cat hates them, they’re not welcome here anyway.
Trine Daely Exactly. Who and why would want to hide their cats "furniture"...? I have 5 cats it's impossible to hide anything even if I wanted to. Their tunnel and scratching/playing house is almost in the middle of main room. If I don't like something enough to place it in my home I don't bring it in. Also that tree,in my personal opinion,is ugly.

The litter box is neat, but way too small for any of my cats.
I am guessing that all the cat products for filming the ads are rubbed with some catnip first. Because cats want the boxes only. My cat doesn't want anything made for cats.

It depends on the personality of the cats and their age. I have 2 six month old cats and all they do is play and sleep. They get really hyper at night as well and love to run around my apartment. I never gave them catnip before, they were like this since I got them 3 months ago.
DO NOT BUY THE POUNCE "toy". My cat's claw got stuck on the mouse tail and he couldn't get loose until I intervened and pried his claw loose by bending the plastic tail off. The manufacturers need to do more testing and make sure their product is safe for cats to play with.
i'm surprised you had to buy that and let your cat's claw get stuck before realizing it was unsafe lol.
The mfg should have done testing, but I guess in this imperfect world we should also be vigilant.

Yeah for scratching I just toss a cardboard box down and they rip it to pieces. They love how their claws can really dig in. They especially love it once they've torn it up some.

Ages ago I just bring home the cut open boxes from Costco. Cats adore the boxes with the fruit smells. So strawberry and blueberry are real finds and they love them. They didn't like the tofu box from Costco. But I bought it purely to get a picture of them laying in it to send it to a friend. She likes tofu. I don't. So you don't really need those special scratching pads either. Just lids from boxes they will have a ball. And sprinkle some catnip on it they get the idea very quickly. Because let's face it ,,, you can't kill 'em ... gotta love 'em.
So true! I have wasted money on cat scratchers and all sorts of stuff for them to scratch and they completely ignore it and go for my furniture and stuff but as soon as I started putting down just random pieces of cardboard and then just empty cardboard boxes they are in love with those now and haven't touched anything else. So now as long as I keep cardboard laying around and at least one or two empty boxes they are happy and leave everything else alone 🤣

This always looks good in the ads but my cat just goes "ho hum, I think I'll claw the carpet" or "check out what's going on in the kitchen".
So true, I buy like 5-6 toys for my cat and he would get only interested in one. soon he would get fed up of that too. usually, I found him playing with discarded ribbon, bottle caps, papers etc. lol
@@akonfever21 Smart cats get bored quickly. I release one or two toy to my cat at once, then shift to others every a couple of days.
Different cats have different preferences on toys too. So that's why there are so many different products on the market. Observe what your cat enjoys the most.
As to scratching carpet, attach double-sided tape (or simply tape) on where your cat like to scratch and I'm sure he/she will give up scratching that spot very quickly. It usually also works to put fresh orange zest at where you don't want your cat go, cause most (but not all) cats hate orange.
Imagine spending $200 on these glorified scratchers and having your cat ignore it. Lol

I loved the Cone, Froli-Cat Teaser, not enough info on the Simply Clean Litter Box, didn't care for the Trixie snack or food dispenser nor the cat tree.

Sounds like the cone is all I ever wanted!! I get so tired of replacing worn out cat trees 😸
For some reason, after the couch says "I come with slip covers too," I imagined the cone responding in Courtney Act's voice "this isn't about you."
Just give them a cardboard box and the plastic ring from the milk jug. I'm done spending money on these guys, presenting their gifts to them with happy anticipation, and having them do nothing more than sniff at it, walk away, and start playing with the packaging it came in.

I actually have those litter boxes (two of them) and lemme just say, they stood up to the abuse of three cats. They do fall apart over time, but it's so darn worth it. It took over a year before we had any issues. For three cat, I think thats very good. I say it's worth it.

6:04 as your can see. The tree shakes a little when the cat hops down 1 branch. This shaking will most likely scare some cats ;)

My cats use the scratching post lol 😂 but one of them is a very large breed, 20 pound cat so he usually knocks them over when he plays.
Everyone is saying “oh they only want the boxes” and while I admit it’s funny, sometimes it’s better to have both. Cats (as many of you might know since you’re here) like to hide in small spaces, which is different to what most of these products want your cat to do. So get the product and keep the box. Just in case your cat likes the product.

Cat Cone... hmm, 2 things:
1) They are using a laser or something to attract the cats to it so excitedly.
2) That type of carpet fabric (loopy) is NOT a cat favorite. The get stuck on the loops a lot and sometimes painfully. It should be that plush-type carpet.
I heard that the automatic litter box is not a good choice
My crowd would have those toys killed in a couple of minutes!
This was cool bit they should start adding the prices in the videos but it is still really really cool
the cone looks good, for smaller cats. a better design would have had a platform built on the top for cats to sit. chatter toy.. the cats look bored regardless what the narrator says. Automatic litter box cleaners are always a bad idea. Unless you want to freak your cat out as something begins moving and making noise while the cat is in it. Trixie board? What is that supposed to be? it definitely looks like one of the creations made when someone got bored. Oh man, the cat perch is such a bizarre thing. the platforms are tilted back, the item is just sad looking. Not one of these five items is worth wasting money on.

I bought a scratching post for my Mia. But..she prefers to maintain her claws on my amp🙄
Best scratching post my cat has loved is from the brand SmartCat.
Try vertical and horizontal scratchers, and vary the material until you find what Mia prefers. Mine ended up liking cardboard disposable ones best, then berber. For some reason they shun sisal. :P And if you put double sided tape all over your amp, they'll leave it alone after awhile. Once she's got the habit of clawing something appropriate for a week or two, you can take the tape down.
