Thanks for this tutorial. Great tip for not having to count those chains! Yours is also the best one I have seen on how to turn and keep the edges straight. This tutorial just clicked, and made sense to me because it looks like a “half corner” of a granny square. Other ones show alternating one treble and two trebles and I just kept getting mixed up. So glad your video popped up. I’m now crocheting my first scrappy granny stripe blanket! 😅

I'm so glad this tutorial helped you - I have seen those tutorials and crocheted it that way and I prefer the look of the way I do it in this tutorial too. Best of luck with your scrappy granny stripe blanket!

@@meemamakes Thanks again. It’s coming along nicely, and I’m very happy with my lovely straight edge!

I think this is going to by my next blanket, after I finish the granny square blanket I have started. Another great, easy video to follow.

That’s so exciting. Are you doing 1 big granny square or lots of squares?

I love your method for an alternative slip knot! That little knot in my work drives me crazy!😂

It was such a game changer for me when I learned it. I hate feeling knots in my work soooo much 😂

I am gonna do the giant granny sqaure blanket, but will work on a stripe blanket too. But that probily will be a longer process :)

I'm starting the granny stripe blanket, and working on a granny square blanket. I'm doubting my hook size compared to the yarn thickness. But it's actually smaller I-9 vs. j-10 than the ball band recommends? But I'm going to go along with it and see what happens.

Hi, you can find all the colours listed here: www.woolwarehouse.co.uk/packs/meema-makes-emyleah-newbery-granny-love-blanket-yarn-pack-stylecraft-special-dk
There are 54 rounds in the blanket so too many for me to list here. The full list is included in the Granny Love written pattern here www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1589048488/beginner-granny-love-blanket-pattern-pdf?click_key=6fd4118a3718e4a24638005225563cf9519afa56%3A1589048488&click_sum=2f0094f6&ref=shop_home_active_1&crt=1

I'm so sorry but I can't answer that, I made it and gifted it to my sister about 10 years ago so I can't count it.
