Sir, Use proper judges. It's a storm ,nothing nobody could do about it. Stop blaming the Government for everything that happens. Things happens in life and sometimes you've to be thankful to have your life. True it hurts but stop blaming everyone. Nobody owes you anything. Life is about looses and wins.
I HONESTLY HAVE TO SAY THIS ,I HEAR EVERY ONE ON THIS NEWS INTERVIEW TALKING ABOUT LOOSING THERE BOATS AND MONEY. NO ONE DIDN'T EVEN SAY THANK GOD TO BE A LIFE AND FOR COVER BARBADOS WITH HIS BLOOD FROM ANY OTHER DAMAGES . A LOT OF PEOPLE IN ST.VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES LOOSE BOATS AS WELL , BUT THERE ALSO LOOSE THERE HOMES. ALL OF YOU GUYS COMPLAINING ABOUT BOATS , YOU HAVE LIFE AND A ROOF OVER YOU ALL HEADS TONIGHT. HAVEA BLESS EVENING.
Ask ourselves what did we do to help ourselves to prevent such damage when storms like this do hit? Answer nothing, so we only have ourselves to blame.

I see a lot of comments with prayers and thoughts but sadly these don't prevent such scenes like this! What is needed are real plans and actions that can prevent such events from happening again. Clearly the harbour protection is not fit for purpose and this needs to be addressed. We shouldn't be so surprised when events like this happen. Real risk assessments around the island need to be completed around the island by the Gov and where area's are lacking like this one they need to be addressed. If we don't then we could lose whole industries like this in the future. Barbados received only a warning from this storm and we should not only just listen but act.
Beryl didn't take any lives, but she took the livelihood of the fishing industry....
And also for the fish vendors after selling 1flying fish for 10.00 dollars in one day some thing happens you all are crying out loud about money and hungry?

In a hurricane if you tie up all those boats together without fenders, too close to the jetty, what do you expect the outcome will be, I feel sorry for them but their lack of preparation and foresight is their problem. They should take a look at the Drone footage of Pettit Martinique and Carriacou, then talk. Almost total destruction.
