Nation Update: Burglar strikes during Beryl

- Vendor Camille “Sherma” Holder was left counting her losses after her stall at the Fairchild Street Market was burglarised while Barbados was under a lockdown due to the passage of Hurricane Beryl.
Following the all-clear yesterday afternoon, Holder said she turned up at the Bridgetown stall to find several items stolen. She believes the culprit used a tool to dig out the wall in order to gain access. (Video by Lennox Devonish)

These places needs cameras to help prevent this kind of ting,why de woman can't put in internet in a place where she is paying for that's not right,she paying she money if it's a place where you have to rent the stalls,she needs to protect her buisness,so is it Dat they are giving the rights to the burglar?but these tings do happens,but on thee other hand,the woman wants to protect her living,and if she's being rejected of her rights,this is a serious matter,businesses and properties are protected by various CCTV devices etc and with the use of barb wire spikes and so on,if the woman wants internet to put in cameras that she can see what's going on to protect her buisness,she has her rights, talk to the prime minister or a minister in the office of the prime Minister,this is about protecting women's rights of this country, women has great contributions to this country for years and it's a flash back history as well,wome did well in this country,seek legal authorities and advice on this,fight your rights okay font give up.

every right to apply for stall space as any national would. Stop the xenophobia! Barbadians are living and working (some illegally) in other people's countries, and enjoy the benefits of overseas citizenship too, chupse! While some of the critics and haters spout foolishness about these "foreigners", their own sons and daughters who got the free education, heathcare etc. are out there robbing, raping, shooting, stabbing and killing other Barbadians. Too many of you have phobias and angst about the wrong things. Stop fearing and hating the "foreigners " who come here and get by. Instead, hate the degradation that is so rife in our society today.
