Usually incredibly destructive category five hurricanes come later in the year when the water has heated to at least 27C. The water is that warm now. This does not bode well for the season. These are volcanic islands the storm went through so the land isint low lying with low elevation so it wont get flooded cause the rain water is running downhill away from the coast but itll cause mudslides though and batter the coast with waves and storm surge.
