Thank you for the well wishes of my people🙏🏾. But one note you placed the wrong flag next to Barbados🇧🇧. Or is that your flag? If so I understand.🙏🏾

So sorry for your losses. I pray no one was killed or injured. I pray for Barbados and the other Caribbean islands especially St.Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada and its islands. May God save all souls out there in this hurricane.

I see a lot of comments with prayers and thoughts but sadly these don't prevent such scenes like this! What is needed are real plans and actions that can prevent such events from happening again. Clearly the harbour protection is not fit for purpose and this needs to be addressed. We shouldn't be so surprised when events like this happen. Real risk assessments around the island need to be completed around the island by the Gov and where area's are lacking like this one they need to be addressed. If we don't then we could lose whole industries like this in the future. Barbados received only a warning from this storm and we should not only just listen but act.

282,000 Bajan's live on the Island lets all pay 20 Usd which would generate 5.6 million dollars, This would go someway of paying for protection against such things like we see here! For example

All seems a little irresponsible they should have been asked to move their boats to parts of the caribbean where the hurricane does not hit, return when the storm passes. It wouldnt be hard to do, you just need some cooperation from another safe island.

Is that ALL ? couple of roofs, Shanty Huts, boats...well Credit is DUE to your Prime Minister, Mia Amor is a Peoples Leader, gave everyone a Heads Up hours and hours before Beryl started hitting the Island and kept them informed throughout.

@@rosahacketts1668 I'm from Montserrat I grew up in the Sea, thats why I respect it. It will swallow you and look forward to tomorrow like nothing happened. I knew many of your mindset that are no more...drowned and washed away. In a hurricane tie up your boat and flee inland...stupidity comes in all shapes and sizes.
