Meddle is my favorite Pink Floyd Album. I know many prefer Dark Side and later albums but for me, I will listen to this over the more acclaimed albums that came later

Yes, widely considered the first PF masterpiece-and I agree. This song represents the beginning of a string of masterpiece albums from them. PF is the best band that ever was, their music will live on forever. As alanwhetstone wrote below, there are two parts.

3 of the 4 guys performing in 1971 in Pompeii (Mason, Wright & Gilmour) also performed live at Pulse 1994. Roger Waters (bass guitar) left Pink Floyd before Pulse.

You need to watch the full "Live at Pompeii" film. It is stunning and a must see for Floyd fans. It's out on TH-cam and somebody even upscaled it to make it look amazing
