This series has also shown for anyone who aspires to create a vlog like this that almost 100% of the art is in the editing room. I take trips like this, I record a lot of content with pricey/fancy gear and at the end of the day, they don't incite or inspire emotion in the viewer like this series does because they feel soul-less and maybe even too linear. The emotion and calmness of this series is probably also Sterling's personality coming through in the videos but his excellent editing work really brings it all in. Congrats on the 10,000 subscriber milestone. I wish I had an editor like you to make my videos this great.

Awesome series. At the end, any chance you can do a bit of a review of the cinematic aspects of the journey (i.e how this was shot and edited?) Would really appreciate any insight into the making of the great footage and in particular of making the most of the gopro since that appears to be the primary camera you used.

Good observation. I did start out with a Kermit chair, which I really love, but I sent it home and got a smaller chair that packs inside of the pannier. I didn't like having to pack my Kermit chair on the outside of the dry bags, but really love it.
