- This is a 20 minute benchy from the Kingroon new flagship KLP1 corexy 3D printer. This printer has max speed of 350mm/s and accelleration of 10K. It prints but the quality is not great at these speeds. The quality does get a bit better at slower speeds but then this is supposed to be a FAST printer. The printer runs Klipper firmware and Fluid web based UI. It has a Z probe sensor and built in input shaper for reduced ringing. I still see some ringing on the prints but the dominante issue is the layer inconsistency that makes the print surface look poor. I have added an Oldham coupler to the Z to preven z wobble and it doesn't help much so it's likely not z-wobble.

wonder if the KLP1 problem is with print bed vibration, any chance the klipper firmware can resolve it?
I'm not sure but my braces help a lot and they changed the bed to make it stiffer. I think my issues are hotend related. I want to try their new improved hot end for it.
@@crazynanoman ic. Thks. I thought it were to do with bed vibration and yeah their gen2 seems to have an all metal hotend. I am tinkering if I should get one for the price. The K1 is more expensive but heard there are some proprietory software issues like one needs a cloud account for the app to work that sort, which is a bit of a concern for me
@@quarkpix K1 is better printer hands down. It's also more $$. The app sucks but I don't use it so not a biggie for me. I don't think I'd buy a KLP1 at this point if I could do it over again. Just doesn't work well and quality issues. If you don't need an enclosure, the V2 is decent and fast.
@@crazynanoman you mean voron as V2? Yeah. True. K1 one can choose not to use the app. Many thanks 👍
Do you think the results are great?
Great no....not hardly. They are much better but not as good as my other printers including P1P, Voron, Ender 3V2, KP3s S1
@@crazynanoman Should i get a Voron 0.2, or this printer on your opinion?
@@baladdzso depends on your situation. The V0.2 is not a good ONLY printer, but a great second printer. It's fast and works great if setup well. The KLP1 has too many issues for me to recommend at this time. I'm testing a K1 now and it may be a good alternate.
@@crazynanoman Well, it would be my first printer...
@@baladdzso the Voron is a bit small for an ONLY printer but it can print all the parts for a bigger Voron. I just tested the K1 and it's impressive. Cheaper than a Voron, runs Klipper and enclosed.....hmmm.
