Who cares about the support vehicles, that is not the main point enjoy the video and let it gooo!!! Thank you guys for describing how I feel sometimes and that is exactly the same reason I love riding and getting away to discover new frontiers!!

Yup. It's glamping, which is a ton of fun, but this is real bikepacking: th-cam.com/video/LH7s_HPVNXg/w-d-xo.html and this: th-cam.com/video/P88L0mySkpo/w-d-xo.html

The mantras about being in the moment, controlling what you are able to control, and living for happiness are beautiful ideas. Thanks for the reminder. Peace!

My new found interest; bicycle touring; motive; to get back and reconnect with God; the inner cities don't offer that; plants, animals, dirt, mountains, cliffs, rocks, etc are not manmade, they are created by God. Bicycle touring is a spiritual retreat for myself too. God does not sustain vanities, but the human soul and teach and guide it to be good and wise in life.

Thanks for the vid......Im going on 60 and planning to do this ride on my BMX bike. Want something exciting? There is a trail that starts at Silverton Casino in Vegas and goes to Death Valley (125 miles/stop at Beatty,Nevada Hotel/Casino), then you go on another trail around Death Valley (125 miles)and stay at Death Valley hotel and a different trail to return to the Silverton (125 miles). Its weird because you only cross pavement only a handful of times and its usually some gas station in the middle of nowhere. The cool part is the stops are all at hotels/casinos or just regular hotels. Great chance to recover in the hot tub, feast on a buffet and sleep in a bed. Its a real challenge because get this...some of the old timers actually do the entire ride with a roll chart! Of course some of these guys have done it so many times they dont even need it. 375 miles, mountains, sand, rocks, beathtaking scenery, temps that can reach over 115, creatures from Gila monsters to mountain goats and everything in between.....its pretty much heaven.

support vehicle? seems like they are speaking out of both sides. Is this bikepacking? seems like a bit of bullshit to me. These guys want to find adventure but get all freaked out because the "support vehicle did not show up.

I want to be different so I grew a beard just like everyone else. I don't want money yet have the most expensive gear on the market and a support vehicle. These videos are proof of why us old geezers (55) think there are no real men left out there...

The things you're speaking of is transcendentalism. Ralph Waldo Emerson, in the 1830s spoke some of the same; leave your chamber, walk through the mean streets of the city and walk to the gate of the forest, open the gate and walk in.

Lol at these guys talking about being out there alone when only the camera crew shows up at camp and not the sag wagon... What is this dude doing making bikepacking gear when he's not even bikepacking? This is weak stuff.

  • @Pww642

Great vid, but I kind of with this were more servicey and went step by step through how to do the ride unsupported. And maybe next time not just three white dudes? Women like to ride bikes too.

Nice video, but you take 5 minutes to get to the Kokopelli Trail which is the subject of your title. This is not a video about the Kokopelli Trail, should just call it "142 Miles From Monday, A Mountain Bikers Guide to Beards." Great content and editing otherwise! B+
